Old Grey Whistle Test had the best live performances in the 70s.

WOW I remember this song being a little kid in the backseat of my parents car( about 6 years old) singing along having no clue what the song was about. However great music leaves a lasting memory

I remember this song. I had no recollection of the group. Hopefully the comments help me out. I’m 62 but I don’t recall everything 🤣🤣

This is one of my favourite bands. Even though they are American they recorded their first song in London, hence playing at the Old Grey Whistle Club. It is a bit sinister, Lee (drummer) wrote this about a barmaid and a d dealer that he ‘only saw at night’. If You want to get to Heaven and Chicken Train are great songs too. Great song and great reaction 😊

This was just a smooth rocker. It does a great job of describing people a lot of us have known, just never satisfied always wanting more. I've dated a couple of women like this. Great reaction my friend.

First seen them in Springfield Missouri in the mid 70s. Just after we purchased the ranch in the Ozarks. They're on their final tour with ZZ Top. Hopefully will still see them from time to time if not in Springfield in Branson. They are a local favorite. The Ozarks has big lakes, rivers and some of the largest Springs in the world. The Beatles vacationed at the Pigman Ranch in the Ozarks near Thomasville in 1964. About 35 mi from our Ranch. 🤠🐂

TONE LOC - "" Wild Thing (Official Music Video) "" Old School Hip-Hop / Rock and Funk 🎸 1980's Classics // Another 90's artist that Infuses JAZZ & HIP-HOP/ FUNK... 🔊 US3 - "" Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia) "" VIDEO VEVO // 🎹 Also this song by US3 - "" Tukka Yoots Riddim "" VIDEO these 2 Songs are super Cool, the JAZZY & FUNKY COOL HIP-HOP with an AMAZING Early 1990s Sound + the Vocals are so catchy and creative. I highly recommend all 3 songs by both Artists. 🎺

Listening to the radio I always thought this was a girl singer and Shocking Blue - Venus was a male singer.

Gotta admit, when I heard this on the radio, I always thought it was a female singer

Uh, Jackie, is just jaded because she's been there already and done that. Your deep insights definitely added the nuance missing in my simplistic projection. It's a dreamy song. Jackie, is dreamy. Maybe she dreams of regaining her innocence, which goes back to what you were saying about her fear of commitment she adapted from an earlier time. Thanks for this one. Always been my delmar favorite.
