I think Destiny’s entire point is this: It’s only a game if you’re having to purposefully go out of your way to do these things. A lot of the game tactics work because they are mimicking the actual behaviors that highly desirable people do naturally. Steven is saying that is unhealthy because unless you’re doing these things as a natural part of your behavior, the facade can only last so long.

I disagree with this. Statistics are one thing. In my experience, you just need to have SOMETHING to offer. If you have a car and a place to live, that’s something that applies to the most people. True. I don’t have that atm. I do have a social situation where I can regularly go, be the star, and get tons of attention, as a musician. That works for me. I get to meet and date women who are very attractive and haven’t been without a date since 15. For some it might be art. Or writing. For some it’s being really funny. For some it’s taking care of themselves and working out a lot. Bottom line: if you take care of yourself, if you can be somebody people like to be around? You’ll do great with the ladies.

Relationships are about values. Everyone prioritizes their values differently and they’re attracted to those who exude those dominant values. Make yourself a high-value individual in your way and attract those who prioritize those ways.
@alvinoflys75043 жыл бұрын
I couldn't honestly give a shit one way or the other because every person/interaction/relationship has its own dynamic but it just interesting to see how caught up in their own perception of reality people can be sometimes. When asked about whether or not women should be equal providers Zherka initially responds by saying "I don't care I'll pay her half" while simultaneously holding the opinion that doing that is incorrect. Meanwhile Sereda when asked about whether she pays rent or provides in her relationship she says yes but with the odd qualifier of her "driving him around, dropping him off, picking him up" with the most derisive attitude as if those actions should NEVER under any circumstances be preformed by the woman. Zherka acknowledges the game and how it must be played and that it is the only way to get ahead and isn't happy with it apparently, but he himself is unconditionally paying more than his half. Is he more concerned with getting laid or keeping his ideals straight? Red flag. Sereda is envisioning the world where her ideals of dating are met while her counterparts ideals most likely would not. How can she reasonably expect an equal relationship if she is apparently incapable of driving a person around without the power balance falling heavily in her favour? Red flag. They're both guilty of playing the game when they think it suits them best, and the point is: everyone does, so it doesn't fucking matter other than figuring out how and who to play (or not play) your game with.

Then we have Destiny who enjoys, is good at, and engages in playing all kinds of social games while signalling to his audience that he never plays anything up for personal gain, outside of all the times he admits to doing just that...but it's obviously for good reason don't ya know, because that would be sooo fake. Actually great take The more you think about it the worse it gets. There are obviously things you can do to help your situation out. Look your best, be respectful, etc, basically being a half decent human being helps. After that it's a matter of either waiting or finding someone who you vibe with. If a fat fuck like me can get a girlfriend, with the kind of weird ass retarded personality I have, idk man. I think people just make shit a lot more difficult than it has to be, including myself when I really got into online dating a few years ago. Id be looking up guides on how to make women find me attractive and how certain body language is something they always pick up on and No, to get with the girl I'm with now all I did was show her a lot of respect and honesty, asked her out and that was it. I didn't spend 300$ on clothes or use any of the techniques I saw online, I was me, and it sounds cliche by saying "just be yourself" but no really, if you want to have a relationship of any value and meaningfulness just be yourself, and be a half decent human. From memory, when it comes to the plumber-suggestion, Sereda expressed no positive thoughts towards Zherka's suggestion, only skepticism. Also, making somebody feel appreciated by being a nice and thoughtful person isn't necessarily the same thing as having a well regarded social status. It might well coincide but you can have one without the other. *"You can work on getting more money together as the relationship goes on. Just don't be a leech."* I'm curious about this statement. If you're not ambitious enough or don't value more money in the same way, does that make one a leech in your eyes? Sereda for instance talked negatively about a frugal millionaire. Is the millionaire a leech simply because they have a different view of money and its uses?

@@normandy2501 I can agree to most of that. I'd just like to point out for the sake of clarity that just because someone wants something from another doesn't mean they can/should try to change that person in order to see that 'growth'. There's a clashing of worldviews there where just because somebody is believed to have a capacity for something, doesn't mean you can successfully extract that from them. It may well be some irreconcilable difference between parties. In that sense I'm similar to you, in that minimalism is my preferred state of being and acting in the world. For instance, I'd rather be a stay-at-home dad than maximize profit. For some women, that would make me instant 'bum'-status. Every time Zherka said "what would you say to people who are suffering?" or whatever, I wanted to ask him what he would say to fat people who tried dieting. There's a great analogy between red pill ideology and toxic workout lifestyles. Crash diets make you lose a ton of weight in a short time and so someone might see that and think "that's what I need to be healthy", but people who are truly healthy know that they need to change their whole lifestyle and make sustainable healthy choices and to people on the outside, that might look like they're "playing the weightloss game", but in reality they changed who they are to become a healthy person

As a guy that has written many poems and made personalized mixtapes for girls in the past, Zherka is absolutely right. That shit does not get you laid. However, Destiny's general advice is pretty much spot on about how to foster a loving and lasting relationship with a partner. You don't have to go all in on 'the game', but you do have to understand the basics to be effective when dating. Any other advice from playing the game is a recipe for a toxic, short-lived relationship. Do what you need to do to get in, but once you're in, be the best possible version of yourself.

Destiny made a poor argument. For one, Destiny was already in a relationship with said women. Secondly, those women already like Destiny. @tkayuniverse34933 жыл бұрын
Sadly, @23:49 I think I agree with Zherka. Destiny’s poems work because they already like him and want to be with him, for whatever reason. A guy who a girl has not determined she has interest for because a lack of status or etc etc reasons, the things destiny is talking about don’t help. If a person likes you, a lot of things work for you because of that. If they don’t then trying to engage with them to create interest/ attraction requires some amount of dumb playing of games. Sadly. The person may not even realize it, but society calls it chemistry or a connection or etc. truth is, if they don’t already like you, its requires some level of playing games. I can easily say I’ve probably been with more people than the average person, maybe even destiny level and the vast majority of them don’t respond to genuine openness with attraction. They like it, but it doesn’t inherently turn anyone on unless they already like you. They will literally tell you the opposite to your face but then still not fuck with you. Everyone I’ve been with requires some level of games. Sad truth. We can say hygiene isn’t games or lax communication isn’t games sure…define it as whatever you want, but you still need to do it. And Consciously if you are like me and naturally prefer to be super genuine and open.
@mattmiller98092 жыл бұрын
I don't disagree but I think you can get people's attention and "play games" without giving up being genuine. I am genuinely a flirt. I use it to my advantage when getting someone's attention. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. But I am not faking who I am to do that. If I get in a relationship, I am just as flirty inside that friendship or relationship as I was prior. But yeah, poems don't work with someone you just met unless you are at Poem Con or something lmao but there does have to be a hook and that doesn't have to lack genuineness (as Zherky suggests). You can be who you are to get someone's attention and that getting someone's attention is "the game" and if you can't hook someone, you have to genuinely change yourself for the better. Women can sense fake shit sometimes and eventually the mask slips anyways.

I empathize with Destiny here on this topic, and I think a lot of people don't get it. On everything being a game, social interactions have guides to get certain results, this can be called manipulation here, without the negative connotation. We can discern here that one of those guides is people enjoy what feels natural, which will be what seems less like a conscious effort to manipulate. Like thinking "if I agree with them, they will like me more." Or "if I disagree with them, they will like me more". Because women will enjoy the comfort of being agreed with, AND the excitement of conflicting opinions. Now these things become void if there is any feeling of a facade. If she recognizes that you are taking a conscious effort to get certain results, it makes them feel objectified. If it feels genuine, the excitement in disagreeing, and the comfort in agreement is there. That's why none of this red pill stuff will work on anyone that knows they are just running different techniques to win them over. But you can do the same shit as these fakers and get those results. The reason I empathize with this is (and I normally hate using these terms as I don't find they are great methods of describing people) I would be considered a sigma to people who adhere to these hierarchies. This classification I tell people works for attracting women. Because seeming uncaring about winning a woman over, raises your value. BUT, I add as a caveat, that I do not approach women in this manner (which is not approach them at all and being focused on whatever I like at that moment.) out of some conscious effort to make myself seem attractive. If you start acting like a sigma would, ignoring women hoping they will become attracted to you, there are factors involved that might give an unnatural vibe, and it won't work.

This is 2021, there are a ton of attractive chicks in the workforce. In fact, vvomen are starting to out-earn men in various fields, I know many attractive chicks who earn 6 figures. I would also point out that it's the vvoman who needs to make a tradeoff if she wants her bills paid. Here's why. If a broke girl wants a rich man to pay her bills, she won't be getting a young chad. She will have to settle for a middle aged man she isn't attracted to. Also, any girl who is only pretty while wearing makeup isn't pretty- hence why she wears makeup. I’m a 36/F who has dated and slept with many men and women in my time, so let me give a few observations… First of all, looks matter so much. I was a very shy kid growing up like painfully so, and I only got good at socializing because people came up to me so often. I’m above average in physical appearance so it helped me a lot. Otherwise let’s face it, I would be a 36 year old virgin. But it gave me the practice I needed. Also going to parties and drinking a little bit got rid of any social anxiety I used to have, to where I don’t need to drink anymore unless I just feel like it. What I am saying is even if your face isn’t that great, get your ass to the gym. Run, bike, climb, lift! Not only do you get hot, but you show that you have dedication and work hard. Do that for yourself and they will come to you. People can overlook an ugly face, trust me. Secondly you have to have a lot going on in your life. Be working toward goals. Make small and large ones. Have hobbies and passions. This is good because you’ll have a lot to talk about when you meet someone and they won’t think you’re boring at all. Don’t imply you’re too busy for a relationship , but make sure they know you have stuff to do and are going places in life and not a loser smoking weed all day never going outside. Lastly from MY perspective about attraction… I consider myself demisexual which means I need some sort of connection with a person to feel sexually attracted to them. There’s no rules to this. I have my “type” of woman, I like older ones mainly, but I just know when I meet someone if there’s a connection. So online dating is complicated for me because I can’t just look at a picture and know, but I have dated a few women off tinder. I’ve been single for years at some points and just been happy doing my own thing. Oh and regarding money, as long as you can afford your bills and to do stuff with me, I don’t care how wealthy you are. Some of my best relationships were when I was young and we were dead broke. I don’t care if you drive a beater or where you live. And I’ve turned down sex on a date when I felt judged by a woman. If you don’t like something about me then I’m not for you. Money doesn’t matter. Self confidence does. Good luck to all of you

40:20 "The beauty standard for women is so off the charts out of control...it's like crazy..."-Sereda ...literally wut? The beauty standard for women is much LOWER than for men: Do women have to be tall? No, plus they can wear heels. Men have to be tall to be attractive and get mocked if they wear anything to boost their height. Do women have to be beautiful? No, plus they can wear makeup anyways. Men have to be handsome naturally and can't use makeup if they are ugly. Do women have to be rich? No, they can get a man to take care of them. A man can't rely on others and needs to make his own money. Do women need to have big breasts? No, but they can get surgery to enlarge them. A man can't get penis enlargement surgery. Do women need to be thin? No, there are chubby chasers that like BBWs. No women likes fat men, however. Do women need to have perfect hair? No, they can wear wigs and it's perfectly societally accepted. If a man is balding, he is unattractive and gets mocked if he tries wearing a toupee.

I really dont understand why he is so stuck on what advice destiny gives his viewers compared to his actions. Destiny is in an open relationship and tells people all the time that most people would not like his sex/love life because of how rare the circumstances are. He has the fuckin hottest fiancé and he's totally cool with being in an open relationship where she can get with other people. I bet the % of people who would be fine with that lifestyle is below 1%

Dude kind of reminds me of infrared lol also I’ve found that Destiny’s point of having interest and qualities that make someone take notice of you is solid advice. Dudes can have all the money in the world, but (unless it’s a gold digger of course) it won’t matter if that’s all you rely on and don’t have something to talk about/focus on.

And being interesting to talk to won't matter if you are too ugly or short for her to want to be in your presence for an extended period of time.

@@johnsampson6387 even if you think you’re short and ugly, you shouldn’t act like someone who’s short and ugly if that makes sense. The dating scene doesn’t work for dudes who are insecure and awkward. Also lowering standards is a pretty easy way to get a date. Not someone who you see as ugly, but maybe not the first three picks.

Some people are just not as desirable. You’re not gonna change it. That’s what people need to be told….
