the misunderstood playwright was weirdly relatable. I’ve been in way too many situations which were uncomfortable or downright nightmarish at the time, but sound like something out of a pretty decent sitcom in hindsight. I guess the difference is that I want people to laugh at my weird experiences. that way, at least I get something out of them.

Ah! The Wire IS the best show ever made! Still, I take consolation in the fact that I came to the opinion while literally no one else I knew had ever heard of it. And still the only people I know who have heard of it are people I introduced to the show. I'm Australian, though, I hear in England it's got a bigger following.
