yup! i watched for the first time about 5-6 years ago when i was in 8th grade. stuck with me only now have i done a rewatch! people have issues with the ending and i understand but it’s not quite so jarring once you understand garlands ideas about fundamentalism and his aim with pinbacker

My favourite film, went to see it with my friends multiple times when it came out. It was a shame to hear a lot of people didn't like it due to the ending, I thought it made a lot of sense that pinbacker would turn out like that given the circumstances. Incredible music too
