What was / is your handicap? You seem to par almost every hole. Confidence should be high.

Brandon, to me it seems Bobbies tips are helping your game a lot. Little adjustments which heling straight away.

Bobby is such a positive guy. You gotta love his comments about believing in your game and just hit the ball.

Really enjoyed. Bobby is one of the best at not filling our heads full of "stuff". He's just like , stay onside, balance, slight left head turn trigger, just little gems etc. If I can say Brandon, watch that negativity talk. At 23.25 you went "who knows where this will go?", just before you swung. Why? Try and see the shot, that little out to in path for a wedge, using the bounce, with enough on it to get up and on. See the shot, picture you doing it (Jack Nicklaus mentions this in his book "Golf My Way"), then do it. Try not to go "who knows where this will go" :). If you catch yourself saying it, stop, reset. Your videos are so good, and you are very humble. Great works guys.

Hey Brendon, I'd love to see a video dedicated to reading greens with Bobby or another instructor. It is part of the game I have the hardest time with, how to read the grain, look for the mower marks, etc.

What is Bobby's beer and cigar choice. Love to play with him. Really enjoy how much fun he has and how much he makes it fun.

Hey Brendon great to see how a few simple tips from Bobby have improved your Tee to fairway and fairway to green shots. Your putting is excellent, just those finesse shots and you are better than most KZbin pros. I just think so much instruction from so many different golf minds may have made it difficult for you. I would stick with bobby as you have fantastic ability and he can channel that.

I think Mr. Lopez is a good fit for you as a coach because he is not trying to rebuild a swing but adding to what already works!

Great video. Congrats on the distance off the tee that Bobby was so impressed with. Do you think it has something to do with the right-hand only drills (100 a day) you were doing a month back?
@BEBETTERGOLF7 жыл бұрын
+Terence Schaeffer yes. Waking up the right side was huge for me.

On down hill lies (22:34) i do the same thing Bobby is telling you (ball far back in the stance) but i will open up my stance a little and close the club face to help with a better strike a starting line. I dont know if this is correct but it works for me.

Hey Brenden, thanks so much for doing this. Really great content. Bobby's approach makes a lot of sense to me. On hole number 6, you could hear your neck pop in the microphone. Maybe time for some yoga/stretching/massager/chiro. One question: you once mentioned that you were influenced by Clampett's impact work (bottom of swing 4 inches plus on the target side of the ball). How do you integrate that with keeping the head behind the ball? Do they work together or do you see it differently now?

MY COACH SAYS "YOU CAN'T STAY BEHIND THE BALL TOO LONG"
@Somefatdude7 жыл бұрын
Yeah I don't like the "put the ball back in your stance" thing Bobby told you to do. Unless of course, you wanted to hit a punch shot. I like what Nicklaus said- ball in the same spot for every club for standard shots. Keeps low point consistent. If you're hitting a punch shot you can take it back or keep it the same and swing slow to keep the spin down.
@KevinBostwick7 жыл бұрын
Different strokes for different folks. I also believe in the same ball position, but some of the best ever (Tiger) moved the ball forward and back.
@Somefatdude7 жыл бұрын
Kevin Bostwick yeah some change it. Most don't though. Keeping the all in the same location keeps low point consistent. Those who change it i.e. Tiger, are always shaping different shots and trajectories. But for stock shots, most pros and better amateurs keep the ball in the same position- just forward of center for every club in the bag- save for driver in which the long hitter put far forward and hit 3-5* on the UP. Again, that's a specialty shot- long high draw. Moving the ball back sets up the punch shot, which is also a street ball shot.

good video. I like the swing thought of keeping chin behind the ball. once your chipping/pitching matches the rest of your game you will be dangerous. keep at it and thanks for the content.
