I'm torn between; I want either 2023 Toyota Prius Hybrid LE/ W AWD option $1400; or I want either 2023 Toyota Camry Hybrid LE/ W AWD option $1500 they are both almost the exact same price $28k; and just about the same gas mileage 52-53 in AWD mode for both; any suggestions would be great, and tell my why like Pros/Cons, Thanks in advance

Prius is a true hybrid. Built in Japan looks better imo

Prius and Camry are so different. If you plan to have anyone in the back, I’d recommend a Camry or accord hybrid. Backseats are massive and luxurious in those, particularly when compared to the Prius. Night and day difference.

@@christophersalay yeah I have 2012 Prius, I really love the car, and its perfect size

Great upgrade in many ways. Unfortunately, the reduced headroom ruins the Prius for taller drivers. Also, the visibility through the rear view mirror is awful. Only solution is to get the rear view camera, only available on the Limited trim.

Taller people can go and get another car then. They already hit the genetic lottery, so they can kindly go and get another car and leave us short kings this beaut.

You can always buy a new rear view mirror for $20. Not a big deal. As for tall people well they could never get into sports cars anyways.

The lack of cargo space is also a big concern, the main selling points of a Prius was its high practicality

@@toyotaprius79 the main selling point was never cargo space in a Prius lmao. It was always about the miles per gallon. 51 miles per gallon was hard to beat. Now that the base model gets 57 miles per gallon 6 more miles per gallon and on top of that if you get Michelin premier low resistance tires you get an extra 1-3iles per gallon making it a 60 miles per gallon vehicle once again crowing it the king of hybrids all for MSRP of $27k
@freshandsaltyjohnny2 жыл бұрын
The only 2023 Prius im interested in is either the base model that gets 57 miles per gallon or the Prius prime with h The highest trim with solar charging roof. All other models to me aren't worth it. All those extra trim features equal to weight and drop the mpgs significantly in which the trade off is not worth it in the long run.

Yes I agree, and gas will be more and more expensive

This car, Toyota Prius, is loved by the masses. Like a beautiful and attractive woman, everyone wants her. We enter the heart at lightning speed.

Only downside is that it is very expensive - competing with the TOP Rav4 and many others now. There is a reason the Corolla Hybrid is still expected to sell well.

The new Prius is definitely a speciality car. I think if you want a more practical and affordable car, you should consider Corolla.
@freshandsaltyjohnny2 жыл бұрын
I have a Corolla rental right now. It doesn't compare to the Prius in any way sorry. Prius is king 👑.
@toyotaprius792 жыл бұрын
The Corolla is not in any way practical 🤦🤦 goddamn you Americans. You don't know when you don't actually have it good You only have the Corolla hybrid sedan. Ever think why Europe had the station wagon Corolla hybrid for years now?

I guess, for $55k I can have a Tesla Model 3, with all options. That is only 15 k more than the Prius with all options, but I never have to pay for gas, have 400 hp, and AP2, if not FSD. Very interesting.

Something the Prius was always capable of - more electric power . They just didn't bother for so long.

Unfortunately this car has come along 5 years too late, if only it had come out in 2018. Then with the Prime it could have given all the new EVs a run for their money.

Great style and tech. But the back seat feels incredibly cramped with that lowered roof. Claustrophobic passengers are not going to dig this. My fam was a strong “no” on this.
