I actually intentionally overheated it so that it could expand the solder joints to make a connection. It worked for a few hours and then I filmed this once the game paused. Turns out there’s bad solder joints on the GPU unfortunately.

i think the nand or the sb that died, i dont think its the gpu like they usualy do because it frose on startup instantly and the noise stopped, it does this often when either of those i mentioned dies

I had it on my Xbox. To fix it do these things, 1. That wine it makes on start up is the hdd trying to connect. So remove it 2. Remove the disc and 3. Possibly change power supply as the caps may not be getting enough power

Yeah, turns out it’s the GPU that’s completely toast. I did do the Q-tip trick and it worked temporarily for a few hours and went back to red ringing.

HDD issue or RAM issues, best solution is to remove the motherboard clean everything with soap and water and let it dry completely then put some soldering paste around the CPU, GPU, North Bridge and memory chip, if you have an cooking oven put ot at 150C° our 180C° and let it cook for 20min or 30min, then turn it of let it cool completely, wash it again woth water and soap and you're good 👍 assemble the comsole again.

I turned my Xbox 360 on and the video where all messed up, turns out it hasn't dried completely, so I have an air fryer big enough to fit the motherboard so what I did was just place it inside at 70 Celsius for 30min the hot air dries everything out.

@@XboxConnoisseur994I revived my old GTX 680 this way. The memory chip connection went bad and the card had crazy artifacts. Whatever you do just don’t do it in your home oven. Find another one somewhere and never cook food in it again. The fumes from it are super nasty.

They don’t make the Xbox 360 consoles, but my personal console has been an Xbox 360 S for the last 7 years. It’s been ultra reliable and heavily used. I upgraded to an Xbox 360 E, but I’m keeping the S as a backup. As for this console, I’m going to try cleaning the motherboard, using soldering paste and baking it, then cleaning it again.

Granted i upgraded the heatsinks to those which you would find in a zephyr. Speaking of which the Elite shell that i put on my jasper RGH as well as the heatsinks actually came from a zephyr motherboard Elite.

I've never seen that usually it would have 1 red ring with e68 I have multiple fat 360's and a few slims the only time I would get 3 red ring is if it was the nand gpu or leaking caps I think you're Xbox might have gpu problems and a bad hard drive that's the only way I think it would get 3 red rings Because a 360 wouldn't give you 3 red lights if it was a hard drive problem only it would give you e68 Edit: I rewatch the video and I found out it wasn't the hard drive that made the sound it was the Xbox usually when 360 die they make a noise while freezing It's a gpu or nand problem

There was only one error, 0110. So essentially what that means is either the RAM chip is faulty (or cracked) or there’s a bridged solder joint on the RAM chip. It’s not technically worth fixing, but I plan to fix it to kind of get my foot in the door with these kinds of repairs.

@TheMahayanist The solder is not what typically causes the RROD. The vast majority of consoles have faulty GPUs themselves, and the solution is actually to replace the entire chip with a fixed chip that has a high tg underfill as opposed to the low tg that early chips used.
