Whether I'm playing with drummers, vocalists or horn players, you're hearing musicians carefully listening to each other and "arranging" the piece on the fly. Good or bad, you'll never hear any song played the same way twice.

Aaron-Noel says thank you! Ella, along with others like Sarah, Carmen McRae, Anita O'Day and more were major influences although she's definitely developed her own unique style of jazz. She also very versatile and performs many different styles from Motown and funk to classical.

Sounds great and everbody is in top form. What became of Mr. T.J. Tomlin? I enjoyed his performances, too. Final question: What became of your DB5?

TJ unfortunately passed away a number of years ago and is dearly missed by many musicians in the New York metropolitan area. I still have the DB5 but plan to sell it sometime this coming summer. Thank you for your comments.
