One of the best races I've ever seen!! Pedal to the metal, balls to the wall, take no prisoners, no holds barred, but no dirty tricks, either. Just heads up and get it done racing! And you did!! Win, lose, draw or break, you are ALWAYS fun to watch and a true competitor. You won because you did everything right. But it sounds like tired iron and another 5 laps might have resulted in a different outcome.. Hope its not as bad as you think, but, if you think its bad, it most likely is. That's racin'!

After being out of the loop for over 20 years, its amazing to me regarding how much this sport has been commercialized. When i was a kid, the drivers owned the cars. Regular guys who had a good job and built these things in their garage. I cant believe how much racing corporations have dominated this form of racing in the last 2 decades. Especially bad when it comes to the sprints. Those guys dont own the car, they just drive it now days. You and your family represent exactly what racing should be. A normal guy with a business and an expensive hobby. Yeah you have sponsors and donors, but we always had to have them. Youre not a corporate employee to a company that has five or more cars in various stages of completion, in case you total this one. You are a family owned and operated racing team. Just as it should be. I kinda binged your channel and watched how you personally built this car last winter. Thats what i remember. For every hour at the track there are at least 10 hours of upkeep and maintenance when youre at home. My dad raced late models a long time ago. I grew up at every track in ohio. Hiding under blankets in the back seat because we were technically not allowed in the pits. Oh the memories lol.

Congratulations on that win, you earned it! Im actually in your video, look in the background of the silly string moment. Im the skinny guy in the black t-shirt. This was the first time id been to a dirt track in over 20 years. Attica was always my favorite. I introduced my two boys to dirt track on this night. I kinda spoiled them with souvenirs, food, and drinks. But they REALLY wanted your autograph. I had planned on going to your pit, buying them each one of your shirts, and hoping youd sign them for my boys. You looked right at us after getting out of the car. You wanted the silly string to stop because "its wet"... lol. I was going to approach you but some else said you had to do your "video stuff". I didnt know you had a youtube channel at this point. My boys found your channel on the way home. They were kinda bummed they didnt get an autograph. But i didnt want to be intrusive. In the future, is it ok if i just walk up to you and ask for a couple shirts and autographs for my boys? My youngest son fell in love with the sprints, my oldest was all about the late models. I loved the entire experience. Both winners made last second advances... awesome night of racing. My dad used to race, years ago. We followed speed week. I didnt know that night was the first leg. I kinda set a high bar for my kids by introducing them to the fastest short track in ohio (to my knowledge), and on a night when the most powerful dirt machines are running.
