That ice barrier trap needs to reveal three "Ice Barrier" monsters in the extra deck during your end phase to not blow itself up. Ice barrier cards are... they're certainly something.

Yeah still find it funny that ice barrier is basically just floodgate turbo but the deck is "non meta" to put it lightly for a long time everyone just kind of forget about it Atleast the new support made the deck actually function, frozen domain is a pretty decent trap on paper but isn't really useful in practice atleast from my experience

I gotta give this guys a weird kind of respect for his apparent insistence on running every bad ice barrier card in his deck in a post-georgious world.

It's was meant to be thematic, it was prior/mirror Mage's seal and vow to keep the dragon sealed in the extra deck, if you release too many of ice barriers dragons from the extra deck the seal will be broken.

It's a great design thematically, it being a trap because it took place around 30-40 years after gregorius's death, you flipping it up basically you as mirror mage visiting the barrier that he "Set" up long time ago.

I think the secret meta for the 30 second event was Time Lord I played Time Lord with Morganite, a bunch of traps, and generic board wipes to help make up for the inherent minus of how Time Lords function and unironically just to not waste brain power, when you see a half decent opportunity to activate, you click, and passively win via burn over time.
