What's funny is he'd be making a reference to something that- even by the time Pomni showed up, probably doesn't even exist yet The first John Wick movie didnt come out till _after_ 2010. Which is WAY after the supposed era Digital Circus is supposed to take place in, based on the late 90's-type computers we've seen and the show's level of graphics and aesthetic.

I could see it. The newset episode shows that Jax is capable of being civil with Pomni if pushed far enough. I feel like that could potentially be a way to allow Pomni, and even some of the audience, to start lowering their guard around Jax, thinking that maybe he’s not so bad, only for him to do something much worse in his focus episode than we’ve ever seen him do before, leading to Pomni blowing up at him, likely after having tried to just talk to him and show kindness like she has with the others.

For a second, I thought her dialogue towards him as she has him by the neck. Was a line taken from the late "Tony Todd" from the remake "Night of the Living Dead" from 1990. His line was; "You know Cooper, I've only been around you for a minute or two. But that's enough time for me to know that I don't like you very much. I'm sure you feel the same about me." And Damn, she really went at him with it personal. Cause like before; she said "I'm not a child." She's an adult as well, she could tell Jax is just being an immature bully to distract himself from his own inner struggles. And like a bully they think it's funny to do that, but when the victim see through their petty reasons. It just shows how pathetic they are... As to how Pomni pretty much called him "A Coward"... think about it, he ditched both Pomni and Ragatha when Kaufmo abstracted... So what she said is basically fact...

The theory that Jax is probably just putting on a mask like everyone else makes this even worse. Like, he tries to distance himself from everyone by being mean. And we've seen several times where this mask fell off - little glimpses of him being actually concerned for the others. Just Episode 2 shows a moment of him being genuinely sad about Kaufmo abstracting - right before putting up that damned persona of "I am the asshole nobody likes" again. But him being a mean asshole 24/7 might actually end up ruining everything for him. And when this moment comes and he actually needs help from the others... Who will be there for him?

Honestly i feel like pomni actually kinda liked gummigoo and i respect her for it bc he actually was a nice guy if you got to kno him personally, and yes pomni is right the fact that she new jax for a few days and already hates jax but new gummigoo for a few hours or even minutes and already liked him is pretty dam sad, jax honestly is scared deep down but doesn't wanna admit it so he hides it all by acting like a real b"tch yk, i kinda feel bad for jax but i don't understand why he chooses violence instead of just being nice or at least have a bit of sympathy for the others and the npc's, anyway in my opinion i feel like gummigoo and pomni would make an adorable relationship (no judgement on me plz)

They really downplay Jax's confidence in these comics. In reality, he's far too confident to be affected by it. If someone told him to abstract, he'll revel in the fact he made them say that. Also, he's like stupidly strong for some reason. Strong enough to lift and throw Ragatha into a deep fryer with ease.
