@@spokenlevantinelebanesearabic A la orden señora.Sòlo una nota sin embargo: ya que usted es hembra, todos los adjetivos que le describen deben ser femeninos tambièn, igual que en el àrabe.Por lo tanto usted dirìa:Estoy muy contenta y honrada de poder ayudar.Chao

Secondly on the second Spanish translation (as Spanish been my first language) it shouldn’t be “eso razón” but “esa razón”. Reason is a female word in Spanish. Hope it helps!

I have a question, Angela. If “Kint” was used for “I was” in the beginning of the question, why wasn’t used again on the section of “I was absent from work.”?
@spokenlevantinelebanesearabic3 жыл бұрын
Good question, as we normally don't have verb to be in the present "I am" for example, is simply Ana.... Ana mariid. I am sick. But, in the past u have to use a helping verb كان which has a conjugation for each pronoun: Ana kint NiHna kinna Inta Kint Inte kinte Into kinto Huwee ken Hiyye kenit Hinne keno This verb ken كان sets the sentence to the past. The 2nd part I used verb to be absent غاب/يغيب ghaab/ygheeb, which was already conjugated in the past: Ana ghibt أنا غبت Had I used a participle غايب ghaayib, which means absecnt, I would have had to use kint So: Kint mareed elyom, 3ashen hek kint ghaayib 3an esh-shighel. Kint + subject + predicate. (Nominal sentence) Or Past tense verb (verbal sentence)

@@spokenlevantinelebanesearabic Thank you. That was very helpful. I still have a hard time making sense out of it because, I expect grammar rules from either Spanish or English.
