For those who don't know how this could have happened. Camera simply tilted upwards. Background is not real. Presenter is sitting in front of a blue screen and image behind her is added later. That's why background didn't change. Why camera tilted upwards? Operator probably left and didn't lock the tilt break. Cameras on tripods tend to be rear heavy due to all the accessories mounted in the back. So It could have been operator negligence but also something silly as work being done in studio, moving gear around, tech needs you to step back from the camera so he can drag cable through it just takes a few sec etc. Shit happens in live production.

@@whitneystone7550 well theoretically yes but probably wasn't the case for several reasons. 1) Camera used for this kind of shot has a teleprompter mounted in front of the lens. The way those are normally mounted is on the tripod under the camera I just can't see how it would fit on remote controlled head or what would be the point. 2) If you actually bumped the joystick the movement would not be so smooth, you would actually need to hold it in place. Also, you will need to bump the joystick back for camera to tilt up, which is very unlikely accidental way to bump a joystick. I work in live production for over 15 years and cameras on tripods when left unattended always do this if you don't lock the tripod. They are never perfectly balanced (as all things should be). Especially on outside broadcasts where are multiple cameras, you can see right away which cameras have been setup by that new intern because they are all pointing into the sky on their unlocked tripods.
