Die Leute hier erwarten nen M2 unter der Haube oder.. das ist ein 220i! Es gibt sogar noch den 218i, weiß nicht was ihr da sagen würdet. Einen kleineren Motor ergibt in der jetzigen Lage durchaus Sinn wegen Versicherung, Steuern und vorallem Sprit. Wenn man trotzdem noch einen guten Sound bekommt, und ein sportliches Fahrgefühl auf der Landstraße, dann ist das doch schon super. Und darauf zielt auch der 220i. Wenn ihr was schnelles wollt, gerne nen M2(40i) kaufen

leider lasch was die 0-100 angeht und noch mehr bei 100 - 200, wer BMW kennt und fährt wird zum 230i greifen nach diesem Video... der Sound beim 30/40i ist auch besser Fahre eine F26 30d und in heutiger Zeit nicht teuer als anderer Autos Spritt oder Versicherung, nur die Steuer :)

Yeah😂, well funny story I had two 120i 2019s exactly the same, one was always 2 car lengths ahead of the other when raced, for some strange reason. BMW should of at least given the 220i coupe 160KW. 😂👍🏻

I would be disapponted too had I exchanged this with eTSI Golf 8 150. I even reached an easy 238 kph with my Golf

Sorry but that’s not true. I got the previous model of the 2 series as 220i. And I raced a Golf 8 etsi on the German Autobahn. The Golf had no chance. So it’s definitely not as quick as an 220i.

Auf dem Bildschirm betrachtet wirkt die Performance eher enttäuschend, rein subjektiv. Der Motorklang dagegen klingt ebenso enttäuschend , wie ein schlechtes Videospiel. Da lobe ich mir meinen alten E34 mit M30-Klangkörper. Emotionen können die Alten einfach besser

My poor E92 320i 170 HP aspirated with short gear ratio (4,1) is as quick if not quicker than this. And my M performance exhausts sounds much better. Shocking! I guess the main difference is aerodynamics, the G42 being shorter can't have such a streamlined profile as mine.

Man muss bedenken, dass es derselbe B48B20B ist, welches im 230i drin ist. Der hat mit Stage 1 allein das Potenzial, ein Stock 230i auseinanderzunehmen.

Hello,I’ve been searching for some time about this ,does the 220i have the exact same engine as the 230i?Because I’ve heard the 230 has forged pistons and bigger turbo

@@Uilliam56 Its the same engine block B48. It doesn't matter if the engine has forged pistons on the 30i, the B48 with 20i has only 184hp and that will not put lot of stress on the engine. The closed deck design and diesel engine architecture from the B47 makes it reliable.

@@xxzmk yes but I was wondering if it’d be better to get a 220i and get it to 250hp since they cost less,but if the stock 230i has better components I still wouldn’t be too sure about upgrading the ECU on the 220i

@@Uilliam56 look. Tuning a car comes always with risk factors. Of course if you tune a 230i or a 220i both will have reduced expectancy of life. And the life of an engine is mostly bound to how you maintain it and how you drive it. But there is also a luck factor in it. I have a N47 318d which is known to make lots of timing chain issues. But I have driven this car with long trips and oil changes within 6k miles or 10k km intervals. It still sits there with 220k km or 130k+ miles without any timing chain rattle or else. You can go and purchase a 220i and tune it up to 230i performance levels. Of course it won't hold as much as a 230i if that one has forged internals. But it wouldn't or shouldn't be a catastrophe. You can do a tune on it, but check if you can find someone who does oil checkups to see if there is excessive wear and tear on the engine parts compared to before and after tuning.

Downpipe, air intake, remap stage1, you can easy get around 260 HP which would be decent for this car In compare, my 320d f31 is serial faster than this, and with only stage 1 its much faster in acceleration and top speed

Was für eine lahme Gurke xD Da lobe ich mir doch meinen schönen E93 335i :D Ist zwar gefühlt ein 7,5 Tonner, zieht dank strammen 380PS trotzdem wie Sau :)

Was mich vor allem wundert, dass ein 220i Active tourer mit dem selben Motor und aerodynamisch schlechterer Karosserie deutlich schneller ist...

@@till8014 Die Optik täuscht. Active tourer und Coupe haben den selben cw Wert von 0,26 und ein ähnliches Gewicht um die 1,6 tonnen. Da der Active tourer eine niedrigere Höchstgeschwindigkeit hat, könnte man vermiten das die Getriebe unterschiedlich übersetzt sind. Coupe mehr auf Endgeschwindigkeit und Active Tourer auf Durchzug.

Was noch hinzukommt ist 192PS non OPF vs 184PS OPF. Gefühlt raubt es dem Motor etwas Freiheit.
