The man playing the keyboards is the legendary Don Airey. He's a fantastic session musician and he's been in numerous famous bands for about 5 decades now.
@alfe59922 жыл бұрын
Don Airey didn’t tour with the band until December 1981. This was Lindsay Bridgwater who toured with the band during Blizzard of Ozz UK + US leg and Diary of a Madman UK tour and also the Speak of the Devil tour when Don left in November 1982, to rejoin once again in March 1983.

Randy died in a plane crash while on tour in 1982. More OZZY songs to try will be; *I Don't Know__Crazy Train__Suicide Solution__Over The Mountain__Diary Of A Madman__Bark At The Moon.*

Randy Rhoads playing lifts an already killer song idea into a completely different dimension. The first blistering solo is so unexpected injecting a classical feel into a heavy metal mix. Pure genius.

Randy Rhoads was just inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2021. He was with "Quiet Riot" and Ozzy was with "Black Sabbath" before he and Randy started playing together. Randy taught music at his Mom, Dee's Music School, in North Hollywood. I went to High School with Randy who was the class ahead of me, 1975. He has an older Brother, Kelly Rhoads who taught at their Mom's school and is a musician. I knew his sister, Kathy Rhoads D'argenzio at BHS. She was class of 1974. I was Burbank High School class of 1976 in Burbank, CA. Check out the videos of Randy's Hall of Fame induction, the tribute videos and the videos of "Crazy Train" and "Dee"! Randy had hoped to return to school and study Classical guitar, but unfortunately was taken from us far too soon in an Airplane crash. He was a kind, gentle soul and a terrific, encouraging Teacher, Composer and Musician!

Randy Rhoades died 40 yrs ago in 1982. I was 12. He's one of those Rock Gods we all talk about. He was 24. Listen to the guitar solo. Ozzy was the lead singer for Black Sabbath for a little over 10 yrs before he was fired over his addiction. Then he went solo. Randy Rhoades( guitarist) was 24 when he died in a plane crash while on your with Ozzy. Imagine if he'd had more time. Randy was one of those Rock Gods we refer to

There were two guitarists Eddie Van Halen envied, Dimebag Darrell of Pantera, and Randy Rhoads. Dimebag died at 38. He was murdered on stage. Randy died at 25 in a plane crash. The only drug found in Randy's system was tobacco.
@alfe59922 жыл бұрын
Randy was going to leave the band for a classical musical degree, after completing his contact in 1982 for a new album and a new tour. So a new guitarist would have to be in place anyway.

Undisputed R.R the G.O.A.T. RIP
@rogercoles39732 жыл бұрын
Randy Rhoads was the G.O.A.T. He was the greatest hard rock guitarist ever. Randy and the bass player Rudy Sarzo came from the band Quiet Riot. They played with Ozzy for less than two years because on March 19th 1982 Randy was killed in a plane crash, just a joy ride to take some pictures. the planes wing clipped the tour bus and cartwheeled into a house. He was only 25 years old and influenced a generation of guitar players. This video was recorded at a TV studio in Rochester NY weeks before his death. Don Airey is a legendary keyboardist who has played for many big bands. Ozzy played for Black Sabbath and the drummer Tommy Aldridge is one of the top drummers ever. Tommy has played the big time since the early 1970s starting with Black Oak Arkansas and countless other bands.
@keithdean91492 жыл бұрын
To this day, Rudy Sarzo , who witnessed the crash, claims that he saw Randy and the pilot, Andrew Aycock, fighting for the controls. He believes the crash was a failed murder/suicide attempt by Aycock, whose ex-wife was on the bus.

Great video. I agree that they are all awesome.Rudy Sarzo on bass has played with so many bands You have to be darn good to have job openings any time you need them. Randy, wow! You have to watch guitar players like Andrea Segovia play to see where he gets his technique on the fretboard. And why not. Rock has much in common with Classical music. Thanks for doing this great video.

Who is the guitarist? Randy Rhoads was in two fantastic bands; Quiet Riot and Ozzy. Randy has only appeared on four albums, two of which were only released in Japan. He was in the mainstream spotlight for only 2 years. He died at the age of 25, 40 years ago, and is still regarded as the G.O.A.T and has influenced untold number of guitarists since. Let all that sink in a minute......
