Ive been watching you for years and I used to ask question too many times if you were maybe going to hard in certain sessions, but after seeing how you told this guy to trust you and to play around with head movement, I can see that you just read the room pretty well and I love that you dont have an ego to prove. I dont remember it well but you made a video a while ago where you explained one of your 'dodges' after doing a combo is to slip your head to one side while stepping back and then slip the head to the other side while taking another step back which I have used so many times and I am so grateful for that trick. Just wanna say thanks and mad respect to you

I can relate to that, it's just when you don't have your ego in check or just trained in a toxic environment, going hard without intention to go pro is pretty stupid if you ask me. Plenty of people do it but like what's the point really? This kind of flow sparring works on the reflexes, creates morre creativity in striking, and you can leave without losing braincells.

I love your control! You inspire me so much! I have an idea for you that I think would be great for a video! Have a relatively untrained person use MMA (like your friends that you had try to punch you in your back yard) while you use ONLY kicks and grappling. It will help you SO much with your counters and defense. Last night I tried that with my homie and I dodged A LOT of punches and he landed ALOTA OF punches so we both got good work in. He even jabbed me and made me bite a hole in my tongue then he hit me with an uppercut (GNP, went around my hands and banged my head into the floor) that busted my nose super bad. I didn't finish any subs bc I wanted him to get used to hitting somebody and "beating up" someone bigger than him. But when my nose started leaking I had to do 100% BJJ. I got back control and did a mat return. I stayed in side control and got top mount. At this point it was bleeding super bad so I just grabbed the Americana and finished it. Point is I wasn't careful and I almost got hurt, and I feel SO much more confident after getting my face pounded in the granite floor without feeling any kind of lingering pain. As you know confidence=more flow state! So he got better and so did I. I'd love for you to watch the vids on my channel and tell me what you think! Not just Jeff anybody! And if you have any untrained friends. Try having a kickboxing vs BJJ+TKD match. You'll develop your defense SUPER fast. I came up with like three sequences I have never thought of last night and found like 5 different types of slips and angle creators
