I shoot back that fans have a right to complain and of course he brings up the bigots and racists. Well wouldn't you know he goes off on this rant talking only about the racist and bigots, how they are the majority of the fans. I again corrected him that's not true, and that he just proves my point about the valid criticisms being swept under the rug. Dude then has the nerve to claim I support those racist and bigots then goes off the rails talking about how I'm trying to say both the real and toxic complaints are ok and I'm trying to separate the movie critics from the toxic fanbase? Yeah he was a nut job. I even asked him several times to provide a direct quote where I said what he is accusing me off. He comes back just typing a very distort misquote and claimed I said it. I don’t care about character’s sexualities. But it feels wrong to retcon it for a legacy character like him. Not at one point did he seem attracted to a guy. And Obi-Wan’s romantic relationship(s) aren’t as relevant to the overall story as his relationship with Anakin, Luke and with the Jedi Order. If you take the Clone Wars out of the picture, Obi-Wan has no romantic history that we know of. So in that case, his sexuality shouldn’t matter.

At this point I have given up entirely on Disney Star Wars. I enjoy my personal head canon of Knights of the Old Republic-The Mandalorian Season 3. Even if Disney makes the best Star Wars product ever they have done so much damage to the story’s I grew up with that I’d rather pluck that story and plug it into my personal head cannon rather than go with the story’s they have redone. I’d like to say I enjoy Star Wars but at this point my Star Wars and Disneys Star Wars are two entirely different things. Hopefully one day we get a third canon reset and they don’t remove some of the best story’s while sacrificing storytelling to push agendas no one asked for.
