A lot of people from the chat didn't know the difference between someone bragging and a distinguished player talking about their history and achievements. Stating the facts about what you've done is not bragging, not in any problematic way. Bragging is a problem when you talk up your achievements in excess of the reality or disrespect others. man I cant believe Carlsen would shake hands and walk away after a match, talk about losing control over your emotions
@LaFaMoNKeY3 жыл бұрын
I can appreciate Carlsen’s exit cause it means he has a huge passion for the game and hates losing.....and we all know the ninja quote

Hikaru is by far the most entertaining chess player on KZbin. He is to chess what Herman Li is to guitar!

The "faen!" that Hikaru referred to at 14:21, was likely Magnus saying "faen!", although pronounced differently, and translates literally to an archaic word for "the devil", but colloquially translates to "fuck" (specifically as an expletive, it can't be used as a verb). FYI: I haven't seen the original clip and heard Magnus say this, I'm just going off Hikaru's impression. - A Norwegian-speaker

Everyone gets upset when losing in must win situations; even Hikaru. I think there is a video on KZbin where Hikaru is crying in a lost position against Magnus. It just happens.
