Had this before while military. Me and my guys chilling after we just did a 31 mile ruck march that started at 6pm the night before. It was 9 am we had showered and leadership told us get some food. Platoon leadership decided we would go get some food. We were in uniform because as soon as we were done we were going back to work. We had two vegans in our platoon who were eating vegan meals while the rest of us ate our food. Some idiot came up complaining about we should be vegan and everything else. I pointed my fork to my platoon sgt who was vegan and said. "Hey maybe you should read the table before coming at us go talk to him." Our plt sgt told the guy to pound sand we could eat what we wanted since we just did a ruck march that almost half our unit couldn't finish. We all were struggling to not laugh when the guys left. Like we were just eating minding our buisness not doing anything. We left the waitress a big tip and headed back to work.

Well said. I used to be vegan and not only I rescued animals (still do), I rewilded a part of my garden to help the local bird population. I also feed them every single day. I don't know any other vegan doing anything like it. The vegans I know are actually judgemental of me for giving up veganism (it was damaging my health in the long run), though they try to hide it, rather unsuccessfully. Funny thing is that I met them when I was vegan and they weren't and I never judged them for eating meat. My partner's niece is also disappointed in me for giving it up, even though she's not a vegan herself. She just liked to tell her friends that her uncle is dating a vegan. I guess it made her feel special or something.

You can go into any of them and be in and out in an hour or two with a proper diagnosis. Unlike the US, where people go to urgent care, get an incorrect diagnosis or insufficient care, go home, and die. Just this past week, I had to take my aunt and we sat in an empty lobby for two hours only for them to bring her back, look at her, say her knee was probably hurt but they couldn't even look at it because their machine was down and the nearest one was 40 minutes away. Talk about a waste. $200 copay for that. You don't have to have a visible injury to have a life-threatening concussion or brain injury. Ya'll have no medical experience and it shows. If someone has blurred vision (not saying he actually does, but he could and you don't know he doesn't), that's a sign of serious internal injury. Even a minor concussion can lead to death or coma. Get educated.

Something to point out about her anti-leather protest, leather is more environmentally friendly than what vegans want us to wear. Their alternatives to leather are plastics or other cheap products (ironically that many of them usually market themselves) that last only a year or two until cheap materials and bag construction causes them to break down and make them unusable. by them doing things like this they are giving a bad look on normal and average vegans that aren't trying to threaten people into becoming look insane and that makes more people "veganphobic" because they are making the people that simply prefer not to eat and or use animal products look like psychopaths by acting like ones. they are making people think all vegans are like this when they're not. its just sad to see innocent people made to look bad :( another thing i want to mention is that, (and this is just my opinion) but the people that went up to her and threw drinks at her were just poking the bear at that point whether or not she deserved it (not that she doesn't) but she was acting like an actual human peacefully eating some grass but then by doing that they somehow made her mad enough to become her inner insane version of a vegan self. i get it might be tempting, but if they are acting some what normal i'd just avoid them. now, lets say she was "protesting" then you can do that with an obvious reason but at the end of the day they did act first if you think about it not that they didn't have a valid enough reason to. i think you see what i mean. again, just my opinion!

Although I disagree with Tash and just don't like her at all, I don't think throwing drinks in her face is the right thing to do. It honestly makes EVERYONE in those situations disrespectful. I'm so tired of seeing people harass someone just because they don't like them or because they're a bad person. If someone is minding their own business, mind yours. If someone is being disruptive and just.. Tash, either get away from that are if you can or have someone call the police or something. Don't stoop down to their level by being rude and aggressive. This world needs less violence and more mindfulness in my opinion.

Unfortunately if they went to the hospital for his "injuries" they have to treat him. Nurses have to treat criminals including murderers because they take an oath. They can show distain afterward but they have to treat the patient unless they become violent to the staff

The store I work at, the owner and his wife ( Boss lady) are vegan ( by religion ). I am not , sorry .. not sorry, I like my meats and veggies..lol I will bring in my lunch,which is usually chicken and fries ( from a certain place) set it on the counter and wait to start my shift. I laugh every time Boss lady sniffs and says OH that smells good. The owner and I had a conversation once where he said meat isn't good for the body, I said ..Meat isn't good for you but it is very good for me. You can eat all the veggies and I'll eat all the meat ..so it evens out in the universe . He just shook his head and said OK ok. lmao
