I love that place that you stopped at for lunch! I go there every year for a dual sport event that they put on and stay a couple extra days to hang out and ride the roads. You can camp there, they have cabins and very nice facilities for super cheap. I would highly recommend them. They also have premium ethanol free gas right across the street. Its called Two Wheels of Suches if you were ever wanting to go back.

Dan, it's Mulholland way, or drive. The Snake for short! Super technical in a tiny spot. Otherwise great ride. There is another road I think you would love next time your out in SO Cal. It's SR 74 Hemet, Ca to Palm desert, Ca once your up in the mountains the road is called Pines to Palms hwy. you have sweeping corners, technical corners, and some nice cruising. But at the start and at the end... you have some bad ass road!! Matter of fact, you road right by it last time you were here for that big meet up when you went from chaparral motorsports to Palm Springs. Those big mountains to the south of the 10 fwy... that's where the love happens!!

Im no expert Dan but I found it easier to corner at speed when I leave the bike in a lower gear and higher revs, say about 5k RPM that way the engine will help you slow down mid corner if you over shoot it just a hair. Jumping on the brakes mid corner is not fun so do 95% of the braking before you get there.

Mull-Hul-land. It's the weirdest thing to pronounce dude, but it used to be insanely fun until it got blown up. Now cops swarm since they know it's a good spot.
