Mt Reiner is the only outdoor place that I went to while I was at Washington State. I need to go back and check out other spots!

That is one of the ones we missed. there is so much beauty out there! Our last bunch of videos have been from Washington. Hopefully they can help you plan your next trip! 😎🤙

Mt. Rainier is stunning, but go mid-week. It is too crowded on weekends.

Bull kelp is the type with the bulb, or ball on the head of the kelp. Thanks for the video. I volunteer at a lighthouse to the east of this one. I cannot walk far enough to visit this lighthouse. By the way, Juan de Fuca is pronounced: few ka.

Hey Lorrie! Thank you so much for all of the info! And thank you for the correction! I do my best with pronunciation but every once in a while I slip on one 🤣. Which lighthouse do you volunteer at? Maybe we can swing by the next time we are in the area! Have a great day!

The bulb on the kelp is what allows it to float when in the water. SO, when you pop it, you kill it. Not too environmentally friendly.

This was all washed up and dried up on the beach. I'm pretty sure it was toast.
