Hi Mira! I’m 13 years old, I just finished my first quilt, I’ve been sewing since I was 7 or 8 and I decided I wanted to make a quilt! I’m very crafty I knit, crochet paint draw and lots of other crafts, currently I’m working on a king size granny square crochet blanket for my dad for Father’s Day and I’m loving the process. You are such a inspiration to me, you radiate positivity, I love this channel ❤

I hope he loves it! I once made my brother a throw blanked from granny squares. The funny thing was, I only used three very very large squares haha. He's over 6 feet

One of the best things about a sketchbook is doing things on your own terms. Sometimes, it's nice to just have a simple design to give you an excuse to start a drawing or painting! Thanks, Mira, for teaching artists to get past hesitation and fear so they can really enjoy the process!

Mira, I know you probably won't see this...but i wanted to let you know that this video helped to soothe my aching heart ❤️ a little today... Yesterday morning i had to have my youngest kitty put to sleep (he was not quite 2 years old and still the size if a 6 month old kitten). He was so VERY sick and there was nothing more that they could do for him. My heart is shattered 💔. Your soft, soothing voice and kind words were JUST what i needed today. Thank you for being YOU!!! The emotions chapter in this video really resonated with me. I'm going through a particularly difficult time in life, health wise and feeling validated for not always feeling my best and not being happy really hit home. I think I'm going to pick up my sketchbook, dust it off, and when I have the bandwidth make a happy page for future me. Thank you, Mira, you're a bright light in the KZbin world! Sometimes, the "little things/moments" are the "Big deal" ones. 😊 I recently did a page in my art journal, from the memory of some adorable Canada geese walking on the sidewalk. I've started aiming for photo realism with graphite wich can get quite intense... your videos are a very welcomed break to bring colour back into my little art world... also my non verbal autistic 4year old absolutely loves this style we sit and watch them together practising saying what you paint like "flower!" "Strawberry" so on... she loves your channel more than I do 😅 ❤

This is so fun!!! I’m a knitter, and have dabbled in sewing and quilting with… mixed results (translation: the quilt was a disaster and inserting a zipper made me want to buy stock in Velcro).

My hubby is playing a farming game and they like to mess with the names of things. For example instead of carrots, they're called carrops. Anyway, when you mentioned painting strawberries, my hubby started talking about strawbuddies. I thought you'd LOVE what the game decided to call them.

I do fibre art. I love weaving - coasters, tapestries, and wall hangings. All made with yarn and twine.

Yes I love to embroider and weave tapestries, wool, rope, leather. I do lots of multi media art, book nooks. I love to draw but im not the best at it lol.. I have, acrylics, oil paints, water colours, posca pens, oil pastels, chalks, the lot, but rarely use them as ive always found painting and drawing so intimidating, but im really enjoying your advice about the whole reason why we create and what medium we use...were not perfect...thanku ❤

I love the scribble bear page - reminds me a lot of Paul klees taking your pen for walk method. I am the Art Lead at the school I work at and its crazy to see how much the kids worried about making a mess.... Have you tried tatting? Yeah, I'm from the needlecraft generation. Tatting uses very fine thread on a shuttle to produce things like edgings. It's adorable on baby clothes and such.

I was 5 yrs old when I learned to embroider - and it was magic! I don't draw well, so using an embroidery iron on pattern was so freeing! I loved that I could use any colors I wanted to embroider the baby elephants in my first project, and I chose purple! 🤣
