For the most part I'm a ginormous fan of SFV's newcomers, in fact at their best I think they're the coolest in the entire franchise. Necalli however, is a massive and unfortunate exception. Design wise he's awesome, with dreads so thick they look like snakes, and a modicum of scars all in the shape of a V, not to mention it looks even cooler in both of his triggers. Unfortunately this kick ass design was wasted on the most bland moveset in the history of street fighter. Im serious, there's SF2 characters with more expansive toolsets than Necalli and that game is nearly 25 years old. Shame he's probably never coming back as well precisely because of that unpopularity. I would've loved for this character to get a chance to redeem himself.

Same here, I actually like his moveset but it does lack a little pazazz. His visual design tho is really sick and I would love to see a new iteration of it in SF6 but that's most likely not happening.

Damn tatsu looks so much better in this game than sf6. I get that they were going for a more sf2 style for the animation but it looks so janky while it looks so smooth and cool in this game

What do you mean when you describe characters as "Striker"?

Mainly focused on melee attacks in their moves. They can have grabs or projectiles but their main game plan is just punching the hell out of an opponent. Think Boxer, Abigail, or Marisa
