Just installed and started playing on Mac M1 via Crossover. Looks awesome so far, like the game I wanted Project Zomboid to be. While I love Zomboid the hyper realism of the survivor aspects was a turnoff for me (steep learning curve). This game seems to be more balanced in terms of survivor and action. Thanks for the tips!

@@thatboywags Are there certain GOOD places where a player should definitely build a base or it doesn't matter??? I am thinking , to use a police station as a base ( is there even one ) ...can you use them or not??? Or maybe you use something that is high up .... Or maybe to use a factory as a base where loot spawns inside too ??? or maybe a super market ? Or is it better to build your own base from zero ?? I'm new to this game so in order not to waste time i am asking for some pointers, what to focus on what not, what to do and what not to do.

Good stuff. You can craft rags from shirts, hoodies, and bandanas. It took me a complete in game month to find the last car part to get my car working, a starter. It was worth it, though, since the next day I found a box truck and swapped all the parts to that instead.

I hope they updated soon i do encounter some bug 1st was its hard to get items you need to show there item name then get it 2nd was crawling zombies some of the are kill-able but others are not and still crawling

Came here for the Shadows of Doubt content, stayed for the crazy ass detective playing other stuff as well Edit: forgot to comment about the gameplay lol, is the game a sort of project zomboid style game? or is it less/more in depth? graphics certainly have a different vision of style

You missed all important medical tips, rags etc, but you need to do an intermediates tips now. Gave robbing, traders, hunting, fishing etc.

I'll have to test some car crashes I guess 😂 You're saying you flipped it right? I don't think there's a way to flip it back over, but I could be wrong. I'd try to just get any usable parts and all the loot you can out of it. It might be totalled. 😬

Exploring and learning as you play is how I define "fun" in a video game. But common sense says to make a base in the middle, yet not in a city. Just on the outskirt, close to water.

this game looks nicer than Zomboid, but It seems not as fleshed out yet. Zomboid with the books videos and tv stations etc to learn skills is something no other game does with such detail. but I wish it was as pretty as this game. I also hate the cone of view, While it adds some realism, its just quite ugly to look at.

You can play single player offline or up to 4 people in a server with friendly fire. So you could definitely pvp. You can also technically have 10 people in a server, but the dev only recommends 4 at the moment.

A lot of people are definitely comparing it to PZ, obviously because of the isometric pov and well, zombies.. But I've played both and can say they each have their own thing going for them. Plus PZ has many years of development and mod support under it's belt. It'll be interesting to see where HumanitZ goes next.
