Yep. You can tell that he was intentionally acting all nice and kind about "respecting her rights" because he knew that it didn't matter if they got her to talk or not, he just wanted to butter her up and make her think she'd be okay before landing the death blow.

OMG I love that monumental moment when the detectives hold up the picture and say “gotcha”. As Tom segura said about the first 48: these murder interrogations/confession, we get to watch the most important moment in someone’s life. You can literally see the life drain from her eyes when she sees that picture. Watching reality set in as she studders while trying to compile some kind of response she thinks would sound rational is cinematic gold!

When you say it's all in the cloud, do you mean if your paying a provider for monitoring or any cameras on WiFi?
@cappuchino_creations
@cappuchino_creations 9 ай бұрын
@@GypsyGirl23in most cases it is really in the cloud. If it wasn't then you'd have to save the files somewhere. There would be HDDs or SSDs that save the files, and as the camera owner you definetely would know about this because they'd be in your home. Cloud Service is so convenient because you can build a huge industrial Building and put servers in there that save the footage of thousands of people. (It kinda works like this). The main advantage is, you can view the footage or current camera view from where ever, because the servers are connected to the web. If your camera works via wifi it can or can not be in the cloud, it depens on your router, because the router "lets the signal be sent into the world" or not. The word wifi does not determine that ^^

@@Dead_Braincells_Society Same. I did love the fact that she removed the cameras and the only one with battery backup landed face up in the bag she had it in. The judge of this case had a gag order on this case from day one and all us locals could do was speculate until the day she was booked. What wasn’t shown was her boyfriend defended her, refusing to believe the woman he had shared a bed with had killed one of his best friends. Linda wouldn’t have died had he not brought this woman into her life. It’s all so sad. The boyfriend did finally learn of all her acts both in and out of jail and was crushed. He has a lot of guilt.

Kudos to you man, you lost your job, but you kept your integrity! Bet he sleeps better at night knowing he is a human being! Mike, as for you, from the very first episodes of That Chapter up until now, your unique talent for storytelling has just improved dramatically. Most people who allow themselves the grace to simply be themselves (despite the haters and setbacks they encounter) and who continue to believe in who they are and what they have to offer are a true rarity in this world. I am grateful for you, for the awareness, the goodness, the authenticity, and the genuine love for what you do that you put into each and every one of these episodes…and for your accent! ❤️ You inspire more than you realize man!!! Reminds me of Jodi Arias being shown the pics of her and Travis Alexander, that were taken the day she murdered him, after she believed she got rid of them when she ran the camera and memory card through a wash cycle... AND after she'd just finished telling the detective that she hadn't seen Travis in months. The look on her face, the "gosh... that DOES look like me!" when seeing the pics, is an absolute "GOTCHA!" moment for LE, and her heart must've been in her throat in right about then.

As soon as I heard her performance crying to the detective, I suspected she was guilty. If you listen carefully, your ears will always tell you what's up. Try google search for "2010 University of Alabama in Huntsville shooting". Basically Amy Bishop was only an assistant professor, and all records of her murdering her brother then threating people with a loaded shotgun to steal a car all went missing just over a year later, thanks to the then chief of police. Won't even mention the pipebomb she likely sent to a manager a few years after that and that's just the very tippy-tippy top of the drama-iceberg she's caused over the decades leading up to her arrest for the 2010 shooting murder spree.

Mike is the kind of guy who after eye surgery would gradually stop wearing his glasses so that his family and friends could get used to the change. Edit: Thanks for all the likes!! Apologies to the comment section? Idk ❤️ Edit 2: This comment section is embarrassing 🙄🤭😂 Its a call back y’all, do you read the comments of other his videos? Yes, Mike got eye surgery. Yes, I know the frames don’t have lenses. Yes, I know he said he’d be doing this. Everyone relax.

I do like my own company a lot however I do have people in my life who I trust 100% I guess the victims possibly feel the same way about those who go on to betray them. This case made me think of my best friend who I have known forever, and think about her turning on me. She is a really good, kind and ethical person. Unless she had some sort of medical event which affected her brain I just cannot ever see a situation where she'd get violent. It would just never happen.

Though it may not be strange, I suppose in a close relationship there is the greater exposure to stronger feelings of anger, hurt feelings and that. One would perhaps be at most annoyed with a stranger, or a casual aquaintance. But one could perhaps also be cautious over close friendship in a situation where one is employed by the other, like the balance of loyality and expectations to be available. If Linda was no longer a senator I presume she would have less need for an assistant (and the assistant in effect may be sacked by someone she had become to think of being a friend, that have quite a potential of being toxic).

She was kicked out of her dorm bc of her academic probation status so she HAD to go home. Still tried to lie to her parents. Her mom got on the phone with her advisor. Sydney freaked out and bludgeoned her mom too y death with a frying pan and knife. Then tried to pull the temporary insanity plea. Yes, the girl clearly has serious mental issues. She was not insane, though. She knew exactly what she did was wrong. The kicker is that her family is very supportive of her! They paid her Bond so she could live with her MATERNAL grandparents for the 3 year wait until her case went to trial.

Pocahontas is where I'm from, this was big news even with me living out of state at the time. Linda's children were a bit older than me but I went to school with Becky's daughter, even spent some time around the family doing after-school activities when we were growing up. Never would've guessed she would do something this heinous, really seems like "crime of opportunity" vibes starting with her paychecks until it reached a critical point.
