Wanna hear something weird? In some cultures, and especially in parts of the southern US, the owl is a symbol of death. Sometime during the trip, the killers saw an owl, snapped a pic, and posted it, until Katie called and told them to delete the post. At that first interview with police, the morning Dan was killed, Wendy was wearing a shirt with an owl on it, as shown in the photo the police took of her. Tuto, the nickname of the actual killer, means 'owl' in Greek.

@@DavidVandemarkI mean… the data overwhelmingly supports that. You can be emotional about it but you really can’t argue with the facts. I’m male btw, but I’m not insecure like so many brothers
@DavidVandemark4 сағат бұрын
@@ofangelsanarchists2386 Statistically false, as mothers are more likely to abuse their children than fathers are. According to data compiled by the National Institutes of Health and the World Health Organization, at least. You can be emotional about it, but you don’t even know the facts.

Poor Daniel and his mom, he had no chance around the Adelson family, sounds like they ruin everyone’s lives around them. I pray his mom has loving people in her life still supporting her, I can’t imagine the pain of losing her son.

It is cases like this that make me smile and for That Chapter shining a light on people like Donna . I really enjoyed this a lot . I hope that the children of Dan's are having a nice quiet life and are looked after by Dan's relatives . They should have had him growing up , teaching them to drive , and just being a dad . I feel bad that the children were stolen so many moments . Thank you Mike for this

At 7:53 I’ve have never been taught that Kohanim could NOT attend funerals or be in the “presence” of a dead body. My uncle and cousins are Kohanim (it is a genetic position). They just didn’t do the prayers and rituals related to dead bodies before the funeral. That is all. My cousin held his wife’s hand until her last breath. I think Mr. Markel might have had some OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). I’ve known quite a few (who are very religious) overreact to things/ situations they feel make them “unclean.” They are extremely difficult to live with.
