HE MADE THEM PART of the day of Discussion, right? - DAD SHE SOUNDS BAD. DAD LISTEN- HER BREATHING. Dad: "Hmmm Maybe we call paramedics..mmm...- No we'll just leave her here she'll sleep it off she'll be alright - now, OFF TO SCHOOL with you boys and Off to work for me. ME FAMILY MAN DAD.." They get to HEAR the grisly sounds of her death breathing in nightmares for the Rest of their lives - because of HIM. Using these victims as reasons to LESSEN his Sentence ! I can only think a guy who tries that kind of way to try to GET his way - that guy's noggin w the brain made for statements like that one and that guy's face made for fists will finally get their chance to meet their Destiny ------ in in The plsce Made for such meetings, fillrd with folks Made for delivering such Destinies.---- that face, that noggin with That brain, That face with that mouth for words and smirks are gonna get their chance to meet their Destiny And never get a chance to escape it !

Being that the sons are now in their 30’s, I can’t believe this pos tried to use that as an attempt at parole. I would never want to see a parent if they killed my other one. He was the only parent left from whom they'd hear the story from, and he probably raised them to believe he was completely innocent. He was free for ten years raising them. One can only hope that now they are adults they've taken the time to look at the actual evidence. I hope one or more has cut off contact with him, but parental brain washing is no joke and takes a strong person with tenacity and a dedication to the truth to overcome.

No. Her depression was due to the fact that her husband could not forgive her affair. She even wrote it in her own letter. Did she deserve to die? Of course not. But she is not as innocent in all of this as the narrator is making her out to be.
@pandamandimax
@pandamandimax 3 ай бұрын
They both cheated. She slept with someone one single night and came clean about it. He had a continuous cheating affair and lied. He then terrorized his wife for the rest of her life by leaving *his own* naked pictures of her all around town. She offered divorce, he said he would take the children and kill her. He was a terrorist that refused to let each of them go their separate ways. Hopelessness, PTSD and depression would be a normal human response. She wasn't depressed because of a single night with a man that probably that treated her 100 x better than her murder (that was probably the best night of her life!) She was depressed from being married to a terrorist and freaking murdering narcissist. But 1 party is apparently allowed to cheat and the other isn't by your standards. Complete logic 100% coming off you. I think you should apply for a Rhodes scholarship and submit this comment as your entire application. The husband unlike Julie continuously cheated without impunity and was a murderer. If he had simply agreed to a divorce she would've lived a happy depression/terror free life, and the husband could've continued his life with his cheating mistress. Her letter never mentions the word depression, but only says her husband is trying to kill her for a single dalliance nearly a decade ago, read it again, it's right on screen for you. He's also extremely dumb in terms of all the evidence he left and detailing his crimes to anyone who'd listen, especially when he had but a drop of alcohol in him. He literally thought if you delete your browser history that meant it was *poof gone 😂.

It's so easy for Mark to prioritize the right things when he's in the court room looking at how the rest of his life is gonna be. That's when you start remembering what's most important: The exact moment it's too late. Where was that caring person when the victim needed him most? To be able to sleep next to her as he's killing her slowly takes a special kind of nerve. The sort of nerve that need not be tested again. They made the right call in locking that guy up. So sorry to the rest of the family.

@@TheGreatProphecy while I sincerely don’t disagree with this general statement about cheating on a spouse, it feels weirdly tone deaf to add this vague, generalised admonishment of cheating in direct response to a non-generalised example that gives context to the specific reasons for its occurrence. The fact you felt the need to vocally empathise with the one cheated on (and didn’t feel the same need to express empathy for the victim in the video) just comes across as direct sympathy towards the murderer in this video, despite knowing this man refused to comply with his wife’s divorce request and used her child to threaten her out of pursuing divorce and instead he mentally tortured her and ultimately murdered her instead of divorcing her. That might be a better question to ask, why couldn’t he just divorce her instead of murdering her if he didn’t want to be in a relationship anymore? If anything the nuanced specificity of this case should be an example as to why discussions about such a multifaceted topic become reductive when simplified to the point all individual contextualisation is stripped away just so they can be judged on their one vague commonality, as it’d be disingenuous to apply a singular moral judgement to something that can have such immense and multifaceted variation to it.

It's disgusting that the defense used mental health issues that Julie was dealing with to say she was framing her husband. But hey, I guess it's because they've got nothing else because he's guilty AF. Good on the prosecutors and the judges for not giving up and giving in. I loved what the last judge said too. Never a great reason to be in a relationship but more common than people realise in the 80s and 90s and her affair to him made was like a scarlet letter. If she divorced him it’s more likely he would have had to pay alimony and child support and that’s why he didn’t want her leaving. She should have talked to a good lawyer and moved in with a friend. She might still be alive. But because she had the affair I think he scared her. It’s so incredibly sad but so many women stayed in bad marriages like this because men threatened to take the children.

The letter was never needed. The police were suspicious from the get go and the letter didn't cause him to plead guilty. But how about the plot twist that the letter was actually her revenge? All the evidence presented was circumstantial. It would have been easy enough to orchestrate. The testimony of the friend talking about ways to get rid of their spouses? I'm sure that topic comes up often when people are out drinking and joking around (marry, murder or sleep with?). Cell mate testimony without a recording? Dime a dozen! She knew about the office affair and possibly the deadline plus she knew she didn't have any skills to start life alone. Passive aggressive goes hand in hand with depression. Just saying since he's never confessed and never showed remorse it could be because he was innocent (but born with a punchable face) just as well as a guilty psychopath.

The problem is that people do need reminded of it. I know you hear it a lot in cases where people are clearly guilty, but there are also cases where people are convicted simply because they're unlikeable, and not because the evidence proves guilt. Things like sex, race, creed, sexuality, and perceived immorality color a jury's opinion. it's the reason I absolutely abhor the theatrics of the courtroom.
