Rhoni Reuter had been in a two decade long relationship with Super Bowl Champion, Shaun Gayle. In 2007, when they were expecting a child together, Rhoni opened her door to an incident. When the investigation began, it turned out Shaun wasn't only in a relationship with Rhoni, and there were plenty of jealous women out there.

Can we all just give a big shout out to the neighbour who made the call and effort to contact police. One thing we've all noticed from these stories is how little people care - and how infrequently they act - when they hear a woman in distress. Good on the woman.

@@damac5136 no no no that is a stupid thing to do. She sounded like an older woman. She did exactly what you should do. She called the woman repeatedly after hearing her in distress, then called 911. The killer can still be there, so if she went knocking she could have been killed herself. If she did encounter the woman shot multiple times she would have ended up doing the same thing, calling 911. Many aren't trained enough in first aid beyond CPR and it can hurt the victim more. Lastly, it contaminates the crime scene for fingerprints and DNA and shoe prints etc. This ain't the Wild West and we aren't all US Marshals.

Don't cheat on your partners,because nothing good comes from it as we have seen time and time again, LIFE ISNT FEAR AND ITS NOT EASY, ONCE YOU GET YOUR HEAD AROUND THAT YOU SHOULD BE FINE, SO WORK HARD, BE NICE TO OTHERS ,SO THIS STUFF DOES NOT HAPPEN AGAIN, AND LADIES STOP HATING EACH , WE SHOULD BE SUPPORTING EACH OTHER BECAUSE DEEP DOWN WE ARE ALL THE SAME (WELL MOST OF US ARE) , LOLOVELINDA AUSTRALIA

No. People mistakenly and drunkenly kill people. People get into fights and end up escalating. It’s not necessarily sociopathic. We all have varying forms of mental illness, and psychopathy and sociopathy are just that, along with depression, anxiety. All of the mental illnesses out there, we carry in us and it’s called emotions. Some people are balanced, others are not balanced. Others have no hope sadly. I know it’s fucked up sounding, but being such an empath and having such a hard time labeling what is evil or good, I also feel sad for a killer when they kill. Like, I know they must have something going on right? They must hurt and and feel excitement like I do, but in different ways. I take a drug or eat different food or make music and art, build things. Read, learn and sometimes exercise (I need more of that) and I need to keep those routines DAILY or else I start suffering. That must similar to what what a serial killer experiences. I don’t understand them enough. I want to give everyone a chance and love everyone. Want to help everyone, and when I hear of a murder of someone, to me two people die that day, the victim and the killer. Because what if a killer truly can’t be happy or have a high functioning life WITHOUT that addiction or attraction to kill. I can see why killing would be attractive to people. Mental illness. This world is so strange. Who am I to say what’s right or wrong. I used to be a drug addict. Being a drug addict is not right, but you can’t tell me it’s wrong too. At the time the drugs fixed me. But ultimately addiction and over use will then make my baseline problems much worse, so I learn. I learn to improve. Everyone’s so different and it’s supposed to be that way. I find all the good to be beautiful, but the good wouldn’t be beautiful without the “beauty” and balance of the bad. I’m sure most killers are just out of balance, or have no balance and they suffer just like everyone else.
@christopherkucia1071
@christopherkucia1071 2 жыл бұрын
Killing is unacceptable and there are according punishments, but what about those people that NEED to feel that in order to function effectively? Like I don’t have any right getting in the way of telling someone how to be happy, productive and successful. I drink raw eggs because it’s a powerhouse for me. It just works for my diet. People think I’m crazy. It’s just a way that I can get healthy protein and vitamins in me as fast and as much as possible without having to make things or take the time to sit and eat. After I start feeling full after a couple of bites my throat just starts not wanting food to go down unless it’s like a craving, which is addiction. I have to eat really weird and gross, bland, or very spiced, salty and bitter things with certain consistencies just so I can shove it down quick, because I’ll stop eating quickly and I need more than 5 large meals a day NOT exercising. I weigh 120 pounds consistently since highschool. I’m 25. Being an adult in this technocratic corporate world and poison food and drugs and shit is just too difficult sometimes. I’m trying to understand myself and others better now. I like watching mike and this dark shit because it shocks me and I don’t understand it. I don’t understand how a person can kill and be okay with that. It has to be that it’s just something that they finally feel right doing. Obviously that’s not the mentality of every killer, but it has to come from some sort of suffering or something right? A death fills me with sorrow. Watching someone slowly kill themselves gives me sorrow. Seeing a killer being locked away or put to death fills me with sadness. What good could that person have contributed? Could they have overcome that urge or could they have restrained and found a BETTER or HEALTHIER way to go about life? We are all so different and so alike.

And winging it, without getting married, while sounding like the "modern thing to do", can create some awkward, complicated, and occasionally downright dangerous situations that doing things "the old-fashioned way" would have avoided.

I absolutely believe she's guilty. But I also absolutely believe detectives picked up her kids at school without her knowledge and then pressured them into giving them answers they wanted rather than what the actual answers were. In some cases you're likely right. But in others, they no doubt pulled that "well are you sure it couldn't be X instead of Y? Because if you keep saying Y you'll be guilty too". Seen too many bullshit interrogation videos to give detectives any kind of benefit of the doubt, even when it comes to kids. Hell, especially with kids because they're easier to scare into getting them to tell you what you want them to say.

For better or worse, it's perfectly legal. The police in this case are, by using "are you sure...", giving a (false) alibi witness an opportunity to change their story without them having to admit they lied. It also, in theory, allows them to assess just how sure someone is about their story. Are they actually 100% certain about the dates and times of events? Basically it's a perfectly legitimate way to interrogate a potential alibi, although clearly it could have the effect of causing someone to recant an accurate statement because, well, it's incredibly hard to speak with certainty about exact dates/times etc of something that happened in the past.

The ppl who commit these crimes are nothing but trash humans and don't deserve any respect . It kills me reading some ppls comments under other creators videos saying that Mike makes fun of the victims amd their tragic stories which proves that certain ppl just hear 1 piece of a sentence then ignore the context from which it came and just create a false narrative in their minds . It's really sad there are ppl who can do that and truly see no problem with what they do, I gaurentee they do that in real life and are the ones who spread false , hateful stories about others just because they took 1 part of a story about the person and ignored the full context just because that's what they wanted to hear.

What I can't wrap my head around is that this woman herself is a mother yet she showed zero empathy too an expectant mother. I really don't think this woman may have been as kind too her own children as she is portraying as further evident by her current attempt too interject them into her legal struggles by saying the police would kidnap them.

Amen Brother...that's exactly how I feel and think about this witch..she claims to give a crap about her kids yet she kills a BABY!!! Like I told the gentleman above, I hope she rots where she is...I am a mother and I could never do something like that no matter how pissed I was at the expectant mother...that's got me the angriest over this whole story...

This case is so sad and cruel for no reasons. Once poor Rhoni Reuter and her baby were gone, the guy still had a long list to pick from. I appreciate to no end the way Mike tells these stories; this is the best true crime channel ever.

OMG - seeing those lovely, prepared baby clothes, and the room for the baby, so carefully and gently assembled, just gutted me. What an absolute tragedy! Once again thank you to Mike whose superb presentations of these stories combined with his fabulous Irish (Oirish!) accent make me ache for the victims and slay me with his ability to demolish the stupid perps (“ferret with teats” - best line ever ever ever on KZbin)!!! I hated seeing Rhoni’s very modest little apartment, and the little room for the baby, with the pictures of Shaun everywhere. Rhoni should have been with a man who respected her. It’s just tragic. Rhoni, girl, you gave up waaaaaaaay too much to be with a guy who didn’t seem to love or respect you in a way you deserved. She was the mother of his child, and he couldn’t be bothered to conduct himself like a grown-arse man who was about to be a father.

It's so pitiful to hear the excuses and lies from someone that gets caught for a crime especially a murder. They truly believe thier lies so much that some of them can pass a polygraph but they never realize how crazy the lies sound to EVERYBODY else. I guess it's some peoples way of self preservation kind of like the fight or flight reflex
