I love it when the video is titled after the victim, not the murderer. It puts the spotlight on the ones that deserve it.

I don't know why Americans always have to be so stupid and simple minded. Just because someone is talking about a killer and the "spotlight" is on him / her, doesn't mean people are treating them like some celebrity or a person who has done something great. And having a "spotlight" doesn't always mean that it "encourages" others. Most of the times, it actually discourages people because they start thinking about the shame it will cause them and their family if they are ever caught for something like that, with everyone despising them. In a story told, people always remember the key characters. So they WILL remember the victim. And analysing the killer can often lead to people coming up with preventive measures and counter measures.

I have personally been involved with the search for two missing women. The first one the murderer happened to be a friend I grew up with. Searching for someone missing is always hard. However having a former friend be the reason for her not only going missing but for murdering her in such a brutal way changes you. I still feel horrible for once being friends with someone could do what he did. The other missing person turned out to be a murder victim as well but she was able to criticality wound him when was about 50% the reason he was found. And unfortunately he qualifies as a serial killer. I just don't know how anyone can take someone else's life unless they were defending themselves or a loved one. They are sickening and shouldn't get to draw another breath.

@@David-eu1ms - not in Texas. If he fessed up he would go from life to a capital murder charge and be executed. In many southern states they have very limited number of appeals and laws in place so you have 5 yrs or less from sentence to execution date to ease the burden on the state and I wish it were this way in every state. Having monsters sit on death row wasting 50k tax dollars a year for 15-40+ years is a HUGE drain and waste of resources. Texas and Florida have an express lane to make sure these degenerates are put down as fast as possible as they are no longer human once they commit these crimes. The only issue I have with capital punishment is that it doesn't apply to sexual predators as well. I believe anyone found guilty of doing anything to kids for example should get the needle as fast as possible as well.

Most murders are senseless (unless they’re self defense), but this kind is truly senseless. Christina did nothing to her killer, but he felt he had to punish a woman - ANY woman - because another woman bruised his fragile ego. And the whole time this fool had a girlfriend! And it is scarier because, at least briefly seen on here, he seemed to be just an average guy. No obvious psychosis or anything. Middle-class, car, girlfriend.......and he brutally murdered her out of no where. To me that is scarier than stereotypical "deranged serial killer" troupe. That seemingly normal people can be capable of that.

I grew up in Plano and was very familiar with this case. I lived about 5 minutes from the Shops of Legacy and was there basically every weekend. I was there that weekend that Christina went missing, but was parked in a different parking garage. I remember that basically everyone knew that Arochi was responsible from day 1. The boyfriend gave off some suspicion, but Arochi was the last one seen with her. It was strange that more wasn't caught on camera, though, because there are surveillance cameras like every 5 feet in that area. I also know Officer Benzick, the uniformed officer talking to Arochi in the interrogation room, because he's worked in that little Plano PD sub-station in the Shops of Legacy for like a decade. Arochi won't be getting out of prison, even if they don't charge him with murder. They basically knew he killed her, but couldn't prove it without a body. So, they tried him for the kidnapping (something they could prove) and gave him a life sentence for it.

@@Breakbeat. By emotionally manipulating the jury to find him guilty, despite having zero evidence. It was an extremely weak case, but apparently objective evidence is irrelevant if you can pull at the heart strings of jurors. I “feel” like he’s probably guilty, but there’s not enough evidence to prove that in a court of law.

@@Psyopcyclops as much as I hate it, I felt the same way about this. Anyone else in the parking garage leaving after she entered could have done it. Or as they said, she might have walked out on camera. Kind of crazy with how little evidence there seemed to be.

@@Psyopcyclops totally agree. There not a single fact. Not one single shred of tangible proof. Your telling me this kid, who has no prior knowledge of real forensics, was able to get every single shred of DNA from his car, his person, and all his property at home. They even dismantled his car! The prosecutor even said his undercarriage had particulates from a swampy region. Yet, that wasn't where her body was found. Also, there was sooo much CCTV but not a single vid could show her getting in the car or being in the car. And what do the mean the BF deleted his phone? So what? IT forensics can still get the information if they wanted. This case was sloppy af and because of that any information they came up with should be held with the highest suspicion and thrown out . Get a more thorough investigation with detectives who want to find the truth and less about how to close the case as quickly as possible.

Very sad.. I like watching true crime videos but it gets so sad to always be hearing about good people who contribute much to other people's lives being taken out of this world by weak dirtbags, people without the strength of character to tolerate not getting what they want like the rest of the world has to. As Mike would say, he was a real piece of shyte! And she seemed to all accounts (many others posted in this comment section as well) to be such a bright spot in the world. It helps me not have nightmares about the cases he covers. Unfortunately, he'll never run out of material to cover because humans can't seem to just let each other live in peace (even their own families, friends, or communities).
