I don't know why Americans always have to be so stupid and simple minded. Just because someone is talking about a killer and the "spotlight" is on him / her, doesn't mean people are treating them like some celebrity or a person who has done something great. And having a "spotlight" doesn't always mean that it "encourages" others. Most of the times, it actually discourages people because they start thinking about the shame it will cause them and their family if they are ever caught for something like that, with everyone despising them. In a story told, people always remember the key characters. So they WILL remember the victim. And analysing the killer can often lead to people coming up with preventive measures and counter measures.

I have personally been involved with the search for two missing women. The first one the murderer happened to be a friend I grew up with. Searching for someone missing is always hard. However having a former friend be the reason for her not only going missing but for murdering her in such a brutal way changes you. I still feel horrible for once being friends with someone could do what he did. The other missing person turned out to be a murder victim as well but she was able to criticality wound him when was about 50% the reason he was found. And unfortunately he qualifies as a serial killer. I just don't know how anyone can take someone else's life unless they were defending themselves or a loved one. They are sickening and shouldn't get to draw another breath.

In many southern states they have very limited number of appeals and laws in place so you have 5 yrs or less from sentence to execution date to ease the burden on the state and I wish it were this way in every state. Having monsters sit on death row wasting 50k tax dollars a year for 15-40+ years is a HUGE drain and waste of resources. Texas and Florida have an express lane to make sure these degenerates are put down as fast as possible as they are no longer human once they commit these crimes. The only issue I have with capital punishment is that it doesn't apply to sexual predators as well. I believe anyone found guilty of doing anything to kids for example should get the needle as fast as possible as well.

Most murders are senseless (unless they’re self defense), but this kind is truly senseless. Christina did nothing to her killer, but he felt he had to punish a woman - ANY woman - because another woman bruised his fragile ego. And the whole time this fool had a girlfriend! He was straight up mad because he couldn’t get a side piece! It’s even more sickening because he presumably pretended he cared about her safety and walked to her to her car. Truly a horrific person.

I grew up in Plano and was very familiar with this case. I lived about 5 minutes from the Shops of Legacy and was there basically every weekend. I was there that weekend that Christina went missing, but was parked in a different parking garage. I remember that basically everyone knew that Arochi was responsible from day 1. The boyfriend gave off some suspicion, but Arochi was the last one seen with her. It was strange that more wasn't caught on camera, though, because there are surveillance cameras like every 5 feet in that area. I also know Officer Benzick, the uniformed officer talking to Arochi in the interrogation room, because he's worked in that little Plano PD sub-station in the Shops of Legacy for like a decade. Arochi won't be getting out of prison, even if they don't charge him with murder. They basically knew he killed her, but couldn't prove it without a body. So, they tried him for the kidnapping (something they could prove) and gave him a life sentence for it.

When the interviewer asks ‘What is your relationship with Christina?’ And Enrique answers ‘She WAS just an acquaintance.’ Past tense! Such a tell.
@whitneyangelie36822 жыл бұрын
Not always tho… I was talking to my friend today about her dad and I go “OMG your dad was always so funny. He always made me laugh”. And then later on I realized I was talking about her dad in the past tense (and he’s alive). But for whatever reason I was talking about him in past tense because I was thinking about his past actions when I said it. So yea, talking about someone in past tense doesn’t always have some deep meaning.
@maria2009m2 жыл бұрын
@@whitneyangelie3682 so her dad was funny one day and not the next? In that case you have a very valid point. If you laughed back then and now, then he IS funny (even if its at old memories because its current at the time).. If you are laughing about old GONE memories that "WAS" funny, you are referring to the memory as being "was" not her dad.. BUT, Please don't justify for this jerk, you look bad.. If he WAS with her last then she would still BE an aqantinace if he left her alive unless they ended friendship that night, in that case their friendship would be in the past tense.. Then one must ask if you were with her what led to the end of your friendship last night and furthermore where is she now? The fact he saw her last and was friendly doesn't say WAS an aqantinace, it say "Is" an aqantinace. But the fact his friendly ass saw her last then said she "WAS" an aqantinace does scream he did something to cause her to go from "IS" to "WAS" or he know someone who did.
@whitneyangelie36822 жыл бұрын
@@maria2009m Her dad is *always* funny, the man never ceases to make me (and everyone else laugh). That’s why it doesn’t make sense that I said “your dad was so funny”. Like I said I realized later that I talked about him in past tense and thought it was kinda weird….And I’m actually NOT taking up for this guy (he’s probably guilty af) But you made a blanket statement about the reasonings people talk about someone in past tense- as if it ALWAYS means they killed the person (or are privy to it). And I’m saying that’s not always the case.

OK so as embarrassing as it is to say, the jar with the oil and weird spices in it does sound like a real thing. In a lot of Latin American cultures we have different forms of brujería, witchcraft, and the little jars hold spells. The ones like this are meant to smell sweet to attract love. Whether or not it was actually one of those love spell jars, and whether or not it was his, obviously are a separate question. But that is a real thing.

(Absolutely ridiculous answer, but the detective plays along and says, "Ohhh, that makes sense, yes." He then grins because he is thrilled that he's pulled one over on her.) Biology from dung Beatles, koalas,Chimpanzees almost all female creatures have it tough in that particular aspect and most male creatures have to worry about being killed by another male creature coincidentally male creatures kill other male creatures over females rather their female mate is being assaulted or protecting her from being assaulted or just killing each other to be able to mate with the female but also over a lot of other stuff.

@@devilishmessages381 you must have slept during "biology from dung beetles" class because no female in animal kingdom are being preyed on and killed because of sexual frustration of a male of the same species.
