While having two Porsche Cheyanne’s, a business, a paycheck and a diasability check because of the person you were murdering. I do think it wouldn’t be right to forget to mention his wife, who was without a doubt, in his ear about how much more they should have and was likely fanning flames of jealousy for years before it all “blew up”. There is no way she didn’t play a pivotal role in the whole thing.

I lived in New Jersey when this happened. I knew the Canarro family. Both brothers. They were nice guys. Classic Jersey brothers. Loud and laughter and all about family. The kids were beautiful and sweet. Their parents adored them. The cousins were close as is so typical of New Jersey families. The loss for this family and the community was profound and devastating. Even now it’s a gut kick. There was speculation that Paul’s traumatic brain injury played a part in this. He wasn’t the same after his accident. He really struggled emotionally and there was a lot of frustration that turned to rage. I don’t want to even consider that he would have ever hurt his brother let alone those little ones if there hadn’t been something else at play. It really hurts too much to contemplate. I just lost my dad to cancer 12 weeks ago yesterday. I found my brother dead on his floor from a drug overdose 4 days ago. I was my fathers care giver for 6 years, and did chest compressions on my brother until EMS arrived knowing he was already gone. I’ve often wondered if my brother and dad were able to meet in another dimension, if they truly found peace with their passings. Then today these NDE stories started appearing on my page. Thank you for doing these stories. These have helped me find a bit of peace for the first time since finding my brother. I now believe neither of them are suffering and battling demons, and they are truly free and in the arms of love ❤️

This is a great example of why you shouldn’t judge too much based on 911 calls, because this guy sounded awkward as hell. He just seemed very disconnected from it all. “It’s a body. It’s dead. It’s a corpse.” Obviously, there’s a thousand reasons he may have had that reaction, because he clearly had nothing to do with it. But it’s such a weird reaction to finding a dead body that he’s lucky suspicion never fell on him for any other reason.

It never ceases to amaze me the depths a person will go to to try and hide their crimes. I can see this guy wanting to get rid of his brother since the brother was refusing to give him any more money, but the murders of his niece and nephew are just beyond heinous. Another quality video, Mike. ILU2!

God forbid you sell your two Porsches and get a lightly used minivan and a reasonable sedan, and buy a house that you can afford. It doesn't sound like they couldn't have lived a comfortable enough life within the means they already had available to them. It also doesn't seem like his brother would have disowned him or cut him off if he had fessed up to the missing money. His brother already seemed to be caring to a fault, and willing to help provide for the family... even going so far as to tolerate/participate in disability fraud. He seemed completely charitable in his handling of the situation, given that his kids college funds were being drained and his business had serious amounts of money missing... All while he was paying them a salary on top of their government benefits. I have no patience for people who steal and kill for luxury when they could have just accepted the same basic quality of life without designer labels and without hurting others.

I just don't get why he stabbed the children? I mean you would think he would try to end it as quickly and painlessly as possible for them. Stabbing is so up close and personal and vicious. Those poor kids were probably terrified in their last minutes. Hopefully he'll get some extra special attention from other prisoners in prison.

How do so many people not understand that woman was doing her job well there? Her job is to get as much info as quickly as possible, the caller didn’t give any info more than a corpse was dead, the quickest way to gain more information regarding that corpse was ask “what’s dead”. If you want to chit chat with a 911 dispatcher when you call in distress good on you but I’ll go with this lady that is doing her exact job succinctly.

His own attorneys believe he is guilty. They withdrew in March 2021, citing a "conflict of interest" which is commonly used legal parlance for being unable to defend a client due to something incriminating that has been revealed that without a reasonable doubt is evidence of guilt. There are the occasional other situation where this happens but my understanding is that in this case, that's the reason.

Lawyers defend guilty people all the time, people they know are guilty; that's how the system works. The criminal defense lawyer will tell you that his or her job is to test the state's evidence, to challenge the government's attempt to prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt before an impartial jury. If lawyers wouldn't defend clients they believed to be guilty, there would be a very small corps of criminal defense lawyers in this country.
