In south-west London, there were a startling number of attacks. First a young school girl went missing, then two woman were attacked with hammers, then someone attempted to randomly run over a woman crossing the street. Cars were linked to all, and they led to a certain Levi Bellfield. He really sucks.

My ex GF used to live in a little town called Whitton between Hounslow and Twickenham. I was at her house most days after work and most nights she would walk me to the 281 bus stop opposite the Southwestern pub very close to her house. | One night there was a man at that bus stop, there was hardly ever anyone except me catching a late bus from there so this was out of the ordinary. He stood up by the curb facing the road and my girlfriend didn't seem to pay him any attention but I on the other hand could feel some kinda vibe coming off him. It was like he was buzzing with excitement but he was doing his best to act casual. I told myself I will get on the bus but if he doesn't I will immediately jump off. A few minutes later the 281 arrived. I kissed my GF goodbye and got on. He didn't. Just as the bus driver was about to close the doors I yelled at him, "Wait! Open the door!" I jumped off the bus and grabbed my girlfriend by the arm and looked right at his face. He was absolutely LIVID. His eyes lit up and his teeth were on full show like he was about to roar. He immediately started walking away as fast he could but he kept looking back with this extremely angry look on his face and shaking his head and muttering all kinds swearwords as he turned away and started to jog. My girlfriend was shocked and confused and mad at me for getting off until I explained that man was waiting for HER. I don't know why I knew it but I could honestly feel there was something terribly wrong about him. And I was right. As we were walking back to her house I saw the alleyway on her street where he would have undoubtedly attacked her and realised he had been watching our routine from that window in the pub opposite the bus stop for god knows how long. I walked her home and vowed to walk myself to the bus stop from now on. A few years later I saw a few stories of young women that fit the same profile as my girlfriend being killed in that general area. I tried to get her to recall that night but for some reason she totally forgot all about it. I'm glad it wasn't that significant for her. For me it's simultaneously my most heroic moment and my biggest regret because I never reported the incident to the police. I often feel a sense of self loathing because of it. When they finally caught him and showed his mugshot on the news I nearly had a heart attack. It was Levi Belfield. That night he nearly got my girlfriend he was wearing the exact same collar up beige jacket you see in the thumbnail of this video. I hate him so much I can't even bear to watch this video but I have to tell the story to get it off my chest.

My Mum went to Secondary school with Levi Bellfield in Feltham back in the 70's/80's. The strangest thing is she always remembers him as being a skinny quiet kid that seemed to observe on the sidelines and never really brought a lot of attention to himself. If you look into the Murder of Patsy Morris in Hounslow Heath it's widely believed that was the first person he killed while he was still in secondary school and although police deny it was him due to a lack of evidence my Mum said everyone that went to school with them knows they ran in the same circles. Patsy has a lot of similarities to Milly Dowler and he might have been repressing what he did in School for decades before something triggered him into his run of Murders in the early 2000's, I still live in the area to this day but it's crazy that even though I was a child I remember how much of an impact it had at the time and the fear female members of my family had of walking alone at night etc. You go about your daily life but there's always something unsettling about passing areas where you know these events took place.

@@truth4004 I'd have to disagree, these people torture animals. Hunters and other agricultural workers have a purpose and make the death swift and as painless as possible. And before I hear the peta vegetarian rant, let me explain that animals like chickens and cows would die in the wild. And as for animals like deer if they aren't hunted they'll over populate a area and eventually starve to death. I have no problem with people not wanting to eat meat but humans are omnivores and meat is a excellent source of protein and other necessary vitamins and minerals that are lacking in a pure plant based diet.

I go alone and did as a teenage girl, but I don't go down dark allys in city's, never wander far from screaming distance without a big heavy rock in my pocket. And stay alert to my surroundings. Once a van stopped in a cornish country lane late at night and a voice tole me to "get in", I shat my pants but being 13 and a tomboy I jumped into the hedge and made my way into the thick foliage so fast i didnt even know i was doing it, on the other side I heard him shout. "Laura Parsley, wtf are you doing?" I waited and didnt move and he came into the light. It was my youth club boss and totally harmless, he scolded me on my being far out and alone. It was scary but I had my rock and was ready for fowl play from the moment the van stopped. Solitude in the wild is still my greatest pleasure and I think as long as your smart and don't walk around with headphones in, buried in a phone your alright and life is worth the risk. Worth it to watch otters playing in the morning sunshine.

This might not sound like I'm in a good place when it comes to mental health, but...I was with my bf for 4yrs and we used to watch all of Mike's new videos together. We'd get super excited when we saw a new one come out. We'd always say "you wanna go home and watch mike?" Hell yes I do! Lol. He died very suddenly, with no warning on 8-31-20 at the age of 49. It took awhile before I could watch anything, listen to certain music, eat certain foods, all kinds of stuff. But now, when I see one of Mike's video's, I always say "hey baby, you wanna watch mike?" And I pretend he's sitting next to me, watching.... it sounds like I'm not ok lol. And I'm kinda not, but once a week or so, even for just 20mins, I don't feel so alone...

I remember Milly's disappearance so well, I grew up in Kent which is about 100 miles from where this occured. What happened to Milly was absolutely horrific, it felt like there would never be an answer.

I remember it too. I grew up around Kent but had moved a few miles out over the Sussex border by the time this happened. I remember mostly the fallout of it. I was 6 when it happened and lived on the North London/Hertfordshire border so I can’t completely remember when first news cycle broke. When I was 12 my mum gave me a personal alarm after another news story about Millie, and I remember some intense stranger danger things in my primary school. Even now, if I mention thinking of going to that area my parents both express anxieties about it.

This one was hard. Ladies, no matter where you live, when walking alone at night, PLEASE have some kind of protection! I feel terrible these young girls had to endure such horrific deaths, and that POS will never suffer a fraction of the heartbreak he created.

@@AcanthaDante - Mace is illegal but it's also very effective. My girlfriend has a small can which she has disguised as a deodorant spray. If, in the unlikely event, she does get caught with it then it would be her first offense and I really don't think any judge would stick her in prison for it. However, this thing could save her life and the risk of, potential, jail time is worth it, in my opinion. As you mentioned an extremely loud alarm would also be well advised. Also, it should be part of every school's curriculum to educate girls on situational awareness along with basic defense skills.

Right, but you realize up to a point that won’t make a difference? Go too hard on that stuff and the other kids will just think yours is the weird sheltered kid, and it still won’t prevent their chances of being murdered. All life is temporary, you must not let life pass you by whilst trying to prevent death. It won’t work

What's the point in them living if you are going to make children feel like they are in a prison? Constantly monitored. The world is a playground and children should be allowed to play in it. The chances of this happening to your kid is less than 1 percent. Kids lives shouldn't be ruined because YOU are running scared of life. They just need to be taught common sense. Stick in groups, if you cant get home without walking alone then call and the parent will pick them up. Dont take risks etc. Dont ruin childrens lives because parents are too scared

My dad went to school with Sally (millies mum) and I grew up hearing about Millie over and over as a warning about not going with strange people and to be cautious when not with my parents. Had a massive effect on my family, dad was very protective and I wasn’t even allowed to walk the 5 minute walk home by myself because of this. So glad he got caught though

It's amazing when you hear a complicated series of cases, like those attributed to Levi Bellfield, twice but examined from extremely different perspectives.. the previous documentary I saw spent a lot of time explaining how forensic investigators tried everything possible to enhance or obtain better cctv footage of that red vehicle, & how eventually they tied Bellfield to other attacks.. but it didn't go into the dude's past or mention that one murder he might be tied to from his childhood. Very cool :)

I grew up near Twickenham. I remember this happening when I was in secondary school. My mum was terrified as I resembled the other girls a bit and had bright blonde hair - she would make sure I never came home late from school and I only just have an understanding why now. Horrible to think he was so close to home...those poor girls.

I love how you present the videos, talk, narrate, real clips and etc. no bull, fluff, or extra bs. Love the back drop, lighting, and presentation. I would watch daily uploads. Please for all your eager fans upload more if possible. Till next time a appreciative fan!

I can't believe his partners dismissed his fetish and I'm sure as heck that his behavior at home is worse or weird to dismissed, too.

rape and abusing women is still taken lightly. Hopefully one day it will be more than a "boys will be boys" and a slap on the wrist until they murder someone.
@steveo4991
@steveo4991 2 жыл бұрын
@@lyricberlin Not as lightly as rape of/abuse of men. Oh wait, women can’t legally be charged with rape of a man in the UK. So not such much taken lightly as non existent, so I guess just the abuse part. Not sure what planet you live on though. All it takes is an allegation aimed towards a man and he’s in a while paper suit in a cell, guilty or innocent, his life is ruined. Even if he’s the one with injuries and she’s got bruised knuckles. And even if both end up being convicted of assault for example, he’ll get on average a 66% longer sentence. If both convicted of rape, that carries a maximum life sentence but as mentioned a woman can’t be convicted of rape. The most she’ll get is sexual assault and a 3-8 year sentence. Tell me again how rape isn’t taken seriously and how bad women have it.
@nomadpurple6154
@nomadpurple6154 2 жыл бұрын
@@steveo4991 That would be the dismal 3% conviction rate for rape in the courts. So your planet is not the UK, it takes a lot more than an allegation to get near the courts. Don't get attempt to find facts from incel sites and you won't be so misguided.

I often think about Milly Dowler, I was late teens when she went missing, it really struck a chord with me at the time. The piece of 💩 who killed her genuinely scares me, he is just pure evil… in watching true crime, there are so many “cold-blooded” killers who are psychopaths/ sociopaths and seem detached from their crimes after they commit them but there is something about this guy that just seems inherently cruel to everyone who has the misfortune of being in his life… scary 😧

Being from the UK, I remember the disappearance of Millie Dowler at the time. Honestly, how can some individuals be so evil. I didn't know the extent of this sadistic walloper's catalogue of horror. Now I do. Many of TC's episodes are pretty grim to watch, this being one of them but thank you Mike for being so thorough in putting these together. I have 3 grown daughters.. when they used to walk home at night, I did tell them if you feel like somebody’s following you in a car or on foot go to the closest house next to you, walk into their yard as if you live, there and they’ll go away, I live in New York so the house is a very close… and if they still follow start banging on the back door. It happened to her once and it was actually an undercover cop that stopped her because it was late and she was walking by herself and she got scared and after the cop talk to her he told her that that was a very good idea that she did that … stay safe and always be aware of your surroundings, and do not wear earbuds while walking especially at night because you will not hear if somebody’s coming behind you. Oh my ladies out there and man be safe be careful ❤️❤️
