For this video, I had the opportunity to drive this monstrous 705 wheel horsepower Shelby GT500 owned by my friend JD from Northern Virginia. Basically a step above the Terminator Cobra I reviewed, this thing is no joke and it is one of the most thrilling cars I've ever driven. Thanks for all of you watching and stay awesome. It's a GT500 version of the Terminator Cobra you reviewed, just with about 200 more Horsepower :D. I have such a sweet spot for Mustangs, it's probably because I'm in the UK haha. Nice video David.

@@jackharris4185 I got mine in May of 2020 clean title few tasteful mods 108k miles for 16500. Miles was little higher miles than alot of them but that is an absolute steal. Last year I did a gen3r I'm at around 750 rwhp pushing 20 psi on 93/boostane I'm at 125k now and it's put up for the winter. I keep up on maintenence and take care of it but I ain't afraid to rip it either. They're stout cars. Don't be scared of a few miles if it's been taken care of. Talk about bang for the buck lol. It had an mgw and rst twin disc when I got it and they're awesome. Must have. The tr6060 is a badass trans I shift the dog piss out of mine and it begs for more. And the sound omg the sound! Mine has borla stingers and OR hpipe stock headers right now but I'm doing long tubes in couple months sticking with an hpipe because h sounds menacing and deep. These cars are full of so much win its not even funny. Mine is a stripe delete 07 so it sort of flies under the radar. I've had more than one gm product run up on me probably thinking I was a run of the mill 3v only to get heartbroken. Priceless.

Ryan Neal the 2 wires are retainers for the hood latch clips which keep the hood closed. The cables are just there to not lose the clips, and to add an old school look to it which i love. they have a quick release and open very easily therefore they were used back in the day on racing cars so that pit crews can easily and quickly access the engine if needed.

The hellcat is 707 hp from factory , so with some basics bolts on like cai , tune , pulley etc , easily smokes this mustang , plus the chally has a 8 speed with fast shifts :)

elvicdesonora the hellcat is going to cost you a lot more than this, also this one is 705 WHEEL horsepower, the hell cat is 707 crank. The best time to buy the hellcat will be in about 5 years, once they are old enough for some good tuners to get their hands on it, nothing else will compare, but for now....07-09 gt500's are a great buy!

i actually find that in the case of most mustangs some simple suspension mods make them handle pretty damn well. i mean youre not going to be out tracking any stis or miatas but it can drastically improve the cars performance around corners.

Yah 380hp does feel fast until you get in my 08 gt500 making 850hp and my 10 super snake has more power with 900hp.Honestly I almost want to tune it down.In 4th gear at 90mph if I stomp on it I can spin the tires at90 mph in 4th and when I hit 5th it churps.I honesty think 600hp and up for the street is insane.

Just a suggestion on your reviews: it would be good if you can also do a walk-around of the car outside, the interior, and the engine bay instead of just recording your opinions as you are driving it. We can't really tell how fast the car is or how good the suspension is just by watching you drive. Good reviews though. I've been watching your vids. Keep 'em coming.

Yea these are faster stock than all but gen 3/10r80 coyotes and even those aren't much ahead of it these trapped like 115-116 in good air the 10r80 5.0s trap like 118-119. Those weren't out when this video was made he was comparing it to a gen 1 coyote which is slower stock for stock and much slower once you have basic bolt on on both. That is the thing about the gt500 ecspecially the 07-09 they were very restricted from the factory so with bolt ons to uncork them they make way more power its like waking a sleeping giant lol. My 07 has 2.6 upper only, stock lower. Jlt 123, twin 65 tbody, hpipe and borla stingers it put down 550 through 4.10s it's not even fbo and its well over 100 rwhp above stock. Once modded these things are monsters I walked away from a 17 camaro ss 8 speed auto with exhaust not long ago. I could still do a lower plus long tubes for more power you can get up around 600 rwhp on pump gas with fbo and even higher if you're on better fuel. I'm not gonna bother doing that I'm going straight to the gen3r and about 750 rwhp on 93/boostane with the same size pulley I have now and same setup otherwise. That is 200 rwhp higher with the same pulley combo and supporting mods. Upgrade is an understatement lol. These cars are so awesome. The tr6060 is badass. The engine is badass and it sounds badass. Stock they are long geared so they feel sluggish but still move pretty good for a stock car from 2007...but once modded the beast wakes up lol.
