Kinda weird you can't view listing without signing up. Why is that
@amandamoore40213 ай бұрын
Love the car exchange site! Only feedback would be, when I click the arrow for the next page, have it go back up to the top of the listings. Currently after clicking to next page it stays at the bottom, requiring a scroll to the top to see everything on the page and then back down again to go to next page. P.S. if I was in a position to buy that fox body would be SOLD! 🤣❤️

@ThatDudeinBlue Hey David. I posted in the thread below. It is the second highest comment just below the Altima driver looks like an Altima driver. Whenever you are ready. I have the first two Galpin Pimp my Ride cars from season 4 in my garage and I'm in Northern Middle Tennessee. My wife was on the show and I was as well on her episode. Would love to meet up sometime. Maybe test your cleaning products on the Malibu. It's spent most of it's life since the show baking in the desert.

Hey there David. When you are ready to learn the real dirt about Pimp My Ride and maybe come see at least 2 of the cars (so far), hit me up. I'm in Northern Middle Tennessee and got my wife on the show, still have her VW Thing, and recently obtained the car done before hers. So we have the first 2 Galpin GAS cars. The Malibu is trashed but I plan to restore and upgrade it. I could use some help and need some support. Want to give your car cleaning line a REAL challenge? Bring up some stuff and we will see what we can fix. For That Dude In Blue fans, if you want to see that, like and comment on this one. Maybe we can get David to see it. I've tried emailing you on your detailing brand and nothing even worked to get a message sent.

I wonder how bad doing the show hurt Oscar on the inside.😂 The guys at SOS are actually amazing at what they do. Oscar does most of TJ Hunt's personal cars, as well as the StreetHunter stuff. Bro definitely had to have felt some kinda way about it. 😂

@Fall2Caine3 ай бұрын
@TerpCrazy I'm convinced you didn't understand what you read before commenting. Oscar and the guys at SOS do extremely high quality work and most of what they do high dollar as well. To the point most of their work is probably beyond the realistic financial limits of the average car enthusiasts. These builds for a show like this, while I'm sure netflix paid them an Okay amount, are also not the sort of thing Oscar and SOS would typically do. When I say "I wonder how bad this hurt Oscar on the inside" I'm referencing the fact that he is doing heavily scripted bits for a cringe car build where he's not even getting to do the majority of the work that he normally would do, and instead being focused in other directions.

Honestly so glad this concept is making a comeback. I can't tell you how many 'not car people' i knew growing up that slowly turned into car people. As if the concept of customizing your ride was impossible for regular people. Here we are now decades later with a thriving DIY scene, this show coming back now and doing a good job would do a lot for car culture.

I’m ReaLLy feelin’ the nostalgia from Resurrected Rides. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. That being said, Chris Redd’s comedy is VERY cringe to me. Like, worse than the blatantly over obnoxious “OMG I WON” sequences in Pimp My Ride. But the higher(?) level of craftsmanship, and more practicality and novelty of the mods, without the cringe/ cheesiness from Pimp My Ride balances things out enough that I can’t hate it. I hope it gets a season 2; and more if deserving enough. But yes, you should make a video about the fox body episode. And also maybe the survivalist truck as well.

Quite interestingly, Brazil had a show inspired by Pimp my Ride and it was just as goofy with the mods. And now they revived the show, but doing completely tone down restorations, truly work of arts.
