I had one of these back in high school and I remember it fondly. The F22 engine had enough torque to just dump the clutch at a stop and get going without stalling. The Civics I had afterwards needed revved a little to overcome inertia. I was young and dumb and slapped a Apex exhaust that was found lying in the street on it. Probably sounded like shit but I love it. Subwoofers, a touchscreen radio, and pink HID headlights rounded off what I did to that poor thing. It kept going for easily a decade after I finally sold it.

Personally I would maybe try for a k24a2 out of a TSX then send it but the k20a3 isn’t bad either for getting into things. If you also don’t want to do much to the engine then go with a decent suspension and maybe wider tires , GOODLUCK with the build tho fr 🫡

David, the comparison to old clips showed what i was missing from your recent videos. Sick fly-bye's. The dark blue civic sedan looked scary, because you showed us that. Actually, all the sickest cars that i remember, are from the fly-bye shots. You need to incorporate more of that. Now your videos look "still" if that makes sense.

@@LuckyCharms777 thanks, english is not my first language, hard to tell sometimes how to spell the words based on hearing them only

@@Michael-zo5tm No problem. I couldn’t even tell English isn’t your native language. That’s a type of misspelling many native English speakers would make too, especially since we never really see that word written anywhere. By the way, that was a good recommendation you made to him. I’m considering starting a car channel and made a mental note of it for myself. A lot of these channels talk too much and don’t show enough action. I’ve only watched a handful of his videos so I don’t actually know if it’s the same with him.

I had one of these back in the day with the usual boltons and a cam, slow af off the line but once you shift into 3rd it starting pulling and would top out at 130mph...in Mexico somewhere 👀...anyway they have great shifter and pedal placement making it easy to heel & toe and bang gears, was so much fun and handled great with urethane bushings and lowered springs, I miss that car. You didn't mention what he did with mapping for that turbo install, stock ECU or something else???

I had the 2 door bronze one with the single cam and 5-speed. I maxed it out at 119 when the governor kicked in. I was able to abuse that car every day and it just kept going

This is amazing - thought youd never review a 4th gen Accord LX

Have you ever done a video on the 5thgen Honda Prelude with a turbo setup?
@herewegoagain...2 ай бұрын
That is a 1993 Honda Accord which did initially ship with an F22 and power steering. CB7's usually are swapped with an H22 from a Prelude, and usually in a two door. The F23 really is basically the F22 architecture, and as such, isn't really built for FI. Now, I will say for $200, I think the builder is withholding some parts from the build price: The turbo itself was probably $200... along with over $1000 for other parts around the turbo (be they bought or fabricated) and tuning. Regardless, a 350whp F23? Unless the block is built, I cannot see this engine surviving too many WOT pulls. That said, I had one of these when I was younger, so I definitely appreciate the build.
