Hot tips: Use the aspiration/satisfaction points to buy the "Free Services" trait. It only costs 1500 satisfaction points and it lets you hire gardeners, maids, etc for free. It says it only works with "one time services", but it actually makes all services free. 😁 You should also collect frogs from the logs you see around the world, and then breed them together within your inventory. Sometimes you get rare ones worth 100+ simoleons each. And evolving plants makes their quality go up, meaning you can sell them for more.

pro tip about getting the shock treatment? stop what your doing and go take a shower. this resets the death risk. First shock is shouldn't be fatal, but if shocked again while in damaged state will be lethal. Equally, when starting the game, pay extremely close attention to the graveyard for the unique death flower in the first week or two of play and keep it in your inventory. it should only spawn once but can wilt fast if not picked ASAP. It is a one shot item the bribes death to give you another chance should you lose track of the first chance in the living.

You don't have the option for it but I think if you click to plant one thing, it'll plant anything else that is on plots. At least it happens in my game, if I click one, any gardening option will be done in all plants.

It was sad watching you plant one plant at a time it doesn't say it but if you put all the plants where you want to plant them and select planting just one your sim actually will go around planting any plantable plants on the property in one click so you didn't have to plant one at a time next time just drag the plants out of your inventory to the spots you want them and plant one plus you also didn't need to buy plots plants can be planted straight into the ground and there isn't a bonus to the plots besides it's easier to organize and control where they plant directly the only bonus comes from fertilizer and only to a certain price range so some plants and fish are more expensive than the limit making them more profitable to sell gardening is one of the best money methods but has a few things to get used to and learn
