Kosh to Ulkesh: "See? It's cool to be cryptic. See how they dance to just a few words from us?" Ulkesh to Kosh: "Yeah, yeah, yeah, grandpa. Like I haven't known that for, what, a billion-plus years? Can we go telepathically invisible and get the hell out of here now? I want some Swedish meatballs."

I love the Vorlon costumes....they are the most unique alien design I have ever seen in a Sci-Fi show or movie.

Kosh was such a good person. He wanted to do more, help more, but was restrained.

vorlons always seems mysterious and all knowing until you realize they only know everything they did because of a time traveling human

Then, as the doors close, one vorlon turns to the other and says 'That was awesome, you've really got this sounding like a pretentious wise guy thing down to a fine art.'

I always thought of original Kosh as Good Kosh, and the other one with the higher voice as Evil Kosh.

The Vorlons know how this future will play out gained by information from Valen. "We are always here," simply means they are in the right place at the right time to make sure that these events happen. They know what will happen next, they are simply telling Delen to let events play their course... i.e: "I dont understand." followed by "You will."

"The truth points to itself." "I do not understand." What did you expect? You *are* talking to a Vorlon. That's actually pretty clear as far as Kosh goes. Two years on Babylon 5 (See: equivalent of a human blink) "I have always been here." His favorite saying, even more so than Who are you? :P

This was the Vorlons plan. They were both alive 1,000 years ago and as mentioned in the last comment, they knew from Valen what would happen. It is a stable time loop, and any attempts to differ from it would be dangerous, both for the coming war and for the war 1,000 years ago.

Kosh and Ulkesh knew exactly what was going to happen thanks to Valen, so they really didn't have to say anything. In fact, saying something could potentially alter things, so the right decision was to stay silent and just let it happen. But, I think, Kosh took a little pity in Delenn's desperation. So, instead of staying silent, he gave her a word to hold on to. Essentially saying, don't worry, things are gonna fall right into place so easily that there's no need to fear. However, he couldn't say that either, so in classic Vorlon fashion, he said something vague, cryptic, and also factual.

The only thing worse than one Vorlon standing there and talking cryptically is obviously two Vorlons doing just that!

I actually thought all the B5 movies were good, but In the Beginning was certainly the best. Extremely well written, produced, and acted. Just top-notch drama.

I have used this quote "The Truth points to itself" so many times, and very few people ever seem to know it is a quote. Very disappointing.

I like how even here, you can see the difference between Kosh and Ulkesh. There's a coldness and impatience in Ulkesh's voice. Kosh's voice is more soft and understanding,

I like the way Delenn sounds so unsure, as it makes the contrast to scenes like breaking the grey council really remarkable.
