Agreed. I don't care if he gets the science wrong. The key take-away that I keep hearing from a lot of these guys is their diet is pretty boring and easy. We're just spoiled and want a lot of variety in our diet. It's possible to create variety, but it adds complexity to your daily routine. I'd wager most guys with incredible physiques eat a very consistent and boring diet, without much variety. It's just easier to reach your goals that way.

I've been a fitness coach/expert for 24 years. This was one of THE MOST informative nutrition videos I've EVER seen. True its information that I'm familiar with.. but for the common person.. his personal perspective about clean eating and HIS nutrition plan was very informative. He's totally accurate about gut health. Even those of us that eat clean year round.. face bloating and digestive issues with clean food. He didn't preach a particular "diet system". Just what works for HIM. Damn that was a Great video!!!

Also carbs raise serotonin levels and balance sugar levels and melotonin to help you fall asleep. A good night's sleep is important for recovery and progress.

I got so tired of eating broccoli and spinach everyday, did some research and found out fermented veggies like sauerkraut, kimchi etc. Worked wonders for my guthealth and tastes good too prior to fresh veggies (watch the salt tho in fermented veggies, some of them are loaded) still get some micronutrients from spirulina seaweed, cause anything edible coming from the sea is very rich source of micronutrients/ vitamins. The guy knows alot about optimal nutrition. kudos to you!

Free range can mean they get out once a month. And don't trust grass fed. Same thing. Wild fish..etc...there is no regulatory body on each of those claims. Best to avoid all meat products if you're socially conscious. I'm lacto-ovo vegetarian, working toward vegan. Like he said....takes work.
