I think that GPS is one of the few shows in fact reporting on how Arthur Smith who plays favorites & hates Fantasy Football was 1) reducing the # of routes Pickens ran & 2) telling the Entire Team that Pickens wasn't to be targeted on those routes while Fields was QB. This seems to have started week 4 because weeks 2-3, like this game, Fields' highlight-reel passes, some for TDs were all cancelled by penalties. A _LOT_ of channels noticed Pickens started dragging his feet on routes & it's because he knew he wasn't gettin' the ball. Then Russ comes in & Smith allows _him_ to throw to Pickens & he's on nearly every snap. Remind me again what Fields did to deserve this? Oh right, I already mentioned it. He was making highlight-reel passes.

This happened most of last season too. He has great plays there & a great roster. But it's as if for large periods of time the effort to look them up causes him to get upset.
