Besides all his work with Journey, he had 2 solo albums which had so much good material. You've noticed his unique sound, and it is still there.

@ThatSingerReactions, I saw Journey in 81' on their Escape Tour, and Steve Perry is by far the greatest voice I've ever seen or heard live. If you want a great live video of them to react to, do a reaction to them performing "Lights" and going right into "Stay Awhile" off the same drum beat. Two great Journey songs sung incredibly by Steve Perry. There's a couple of different videos of them doing both songs live on KZbin, and I believe both were filmed in Japan if memory serves.
