Canonically, in Demon Slayer the swords the Corps receives are made with very specific techniques made by a very small number of extremely talented swordsmiths. Every single one is a work of art on its own, and the smiths get *very* mad if anything ever happens to one.

I will always appreciate that no matter how ridiculous or outlandish the weapon, it's approached with a realistic and respectful manner to make it real. Not just a decorative piece but a functional and true piece of art. Ilya and Matt are without a doubt, the finest smith's I've ever seen and it's always a pleasure to watch them work and to be educated by them.

I really appreciate that you guys always go the extra mile to show the more realistic versions of some of these anime weapons. Everybody who watches anime should know how ridiculous some of these designs are. The fact you can capture such a close likeness with real techniques not paint and fake parts that would just fall off or fade if the weapon was actually used is why you guys are some of the best on the platform.

my favorite thing about you guys even when you were at the other channel is that you didnt shy away from non traditional weapons nor did you complain. you did this because it was what you got into the job for creating art weather it be real or not, youve touched real weapons to stuff from movies and anime and games.

You see other people who use paint or other impractical means to make their pieces look exactly like they do in the anime or video game they come from and they come off looking like cheap toys. On the other hand you guys use traditional methods to make a real world interpretation and as a result your pieces look... well, real.
