Madam this is how I do at home. The pachadi will be very tasty even after the Vadais are eaten. My grandmother used to do it. Especially during Pongal. Will taste good with puliyodhare. Nice method to get soft vadas. Tried your tip for heat adjustment of iron tawa by sprinkling water to neutralize heat N worked very well. I got evenly cooked dosa with your wonderful tip. Thanks madam.. keep rocking🙂🙂

Amma must try this. Want to share a tip with u. U told about not adding turmeric while cooking dhal in pressure cooker as water comes out with whistle sound. To control this before closing the cooker we must allow the water in dhal to boil. Remove the foam what is formed, then close the cooker lid n cook as usual, water coming out from closed pressure cooker with each whistle will not happen n stove n walls will be neat. Same procedure during rice cooking also. Tq

I used to soak it the same way in the milk and curd mixture with the little addition of the coconut paste too.. so that the taste is wholesome when you eat with the thicker curd mixture. This technique was taught by my grandfather who was a hotelier yesteryears..
