@@juancodina7842 Star Wars sequels. The entire sequel trilogy has received a ton of hate for an inconsistent story, poor character development, apparently being ultra-feminist, weak characters, and stealing ideas from the expanded universe.

Our (Israel's) current Deputy Minister for Internal Security, Gadi Yeverkan came in 1991. Don't know if he was on that specific flight but he was among the 14500 and all the planes were crowded to capacity. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gadi_Yevarkan

You forgot my favorite fact. They made the initial measurements with Israelis and expected to fit 800 odd people in the plane but, and I quote "Because the passengers were so light, many more were squeezed in." Also my mother happened to work as a flight attendant at the time and saw small chairs being crammed into a cargo plane and was wondering why the heck were they doing it. (Eventually they didn't need the chairs and just crammed everyone in)

I feel like there’s too many jokes at this point and actually get in the way of the information. Like at this point I couldn’t tell if you’re serious or not about the option to fly United. I know it’s a joke but so much actual information has already been said in a joke format that it muddies it.

Over 4000 Ethiopian Jews died on their journey from Ethiopia, due to hunger, murder, exhaustion, and more. Today, here in Israel, we remember those brave souls who had only one dream - to get to Jerusalem. I don't know if you uploaded this video on this date on purpose, but anyway, it is very appropriate. And we insist that everyone understands that it was not only a great effort from the Israeli government, but even moreso a brave and fearless journey that the Ethiopian Jews chose to lead, mostly because of their zionism, and not because of the political situation in Ethiopia.

I don't want to comment on the situation or religions or ideologies involved in the region, I just want to say that in a era of differences or strife, it is inspiring to know that there were people who would be determined to secure the safety and wellbeing of other people. Good people do exist, ALL OVER THE WORLD. Don't let the constant news reports (of terrible things happening around the world) overshadow the fact the there are things happening everyday that show our humanity.
