7:10 that's not inflation. That's temporary increase in prices. Inflation means dollars are PERMANENTLY DAMAGED and cannot buy the same stuff they once could, ever again! It's an order of magnitude issue. Inflation is why gas does not cost 35 cents per gallon anymore. Normal supply and demand variance usually doesn't 10x the typical market price

Yeah, we'd be in trouble, and absolutely countries who have some of our debt would absolutely attack us because they sorta despise us, but the premise is flawed: other countries are not the majority holders of the US national debt. The US government holds it's own debt. It's called Quantitative Easing (direct inflation, aka print money). That does mean we can inflate the dollar and consolidate all the debt into the FED (that might start the war, however).
