How old are your oldest clients? I often feel alienated by you guys, 50 years young kicking ass still advancing in real musical instrument skills with drum kit as my main present study, can't stand hip hop anymore, and my musical taste really doesn't go much past 1984. Early Black Sabbath and late 50's Jazz is my present deep interest. Is there a place for a guy like me, a guy with zero mind for the kind of math that works for computer code, completely ineffective or nearly so with my solo ideas, not procrastination but ongoing experiments that meet resistance everywhere. Seems like all the pros are doing a bunch of computer music. I'm sick of the computers. My present devotion is in practicing acoustic and analog electric instruments, stick skills and foot drills and beat woodshedding the current task. Is this just an old guy's fool's quest? Or is there enough humanity still into things humans do without robots as anything but record and playback and maybe some effects and amp modeling, but stay out of the composition please.
