Funny Story about this game: When I was younger (about 6 or 7 I believe) I wanted a game called Tycoon City New York, but I had no money to buy it. I had the idea to send a handwritten letter to Atari asking them if I could have a copy for free. A few weeks later I get a letter back from Atari. They replied saying that they didn’t have a copy of Tycoon City, but they gave me Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Platinum Edition instead. I still have the disc to this day, and I still cant believe it actually worked.

RCT1's graphics aged really well because they worked within the graphical limitations of the time to create a stylized look that is vaguely reminiscint of model trains. RCT3 was about 80% successful in tranferring the same style to 3D and it looks really nice in far shots. but that 20% that did not transfer well looks really dated up close.

Pro tip: Most of the peeps are in groups, and all of them only go on one ride with the whole group or just wait for the rest of the group to finish one ride, and this makes it hard to earn cash bc most of their time is spent standing around and doing nothing, so i reccomend downloading a mod that spawns more individual peeps, they don't have to wait for their group, so much more of their time is spent on rides/buying stuff. Hope it helps someone ^^
