If that can help someone else: I was really struggling to time the sidestep right perfectly until I discover that you can input the sidestep during the snake eyes animation (not to soon though), the game will memorize the input and Bryan will sidestep as soon as he can → i then “just” learned to react to his sidestep animation to quickly tap f b3 for the ender! PS: Thanks Ty Tekken for all your great videos 💛

I've been following your guides since T8 dropped. I'm pretty proud of myself for realizing that if I held the slither longer I was able to get the full ender without the SSR dash. I'm still working on my SSR dash execution, but I personally find the slither step version easier to land right now so it's what I go for in the high pressure situations at my weekly events. Love the guides! I've played a lot of Tekken but only at a very casual level so it's been fun trying to take my game up a few notches and learning proper strings and combos 😁

Great video. What really helped me while learning this is using the new "remember" function in practice mode. I hit the remember button while the tornado move is ending and then kept trying to do the SSR dash / tap forward to understand the timing of it. Another thing is that while I was still getting used to it, it sometimes threw me off when I did the tornado move while I already had Snake Eyes so that's also worth going over. It's easier to do the SSR tap forward when you already have snake eyes since you have more time to move around before you start doing the combo ender.

The difficult part for me is connecting the b2,1 after the qcf3,4. Getting the b2 to hit is hard, but even if it does connect, the 1 after misses (trying to do this BnB against Xiaoyu btw) Edit: I just switched to trying it against Kazuya and was still missing it, it looks like I was doing the qcf3,4 waaaaay too late after the dash. Once I started doing the qcf3,4 sooner the whole rest of the combo started hiting :)

I have a question for you. Your ender is b3 f 2,1. Why don't you use b3 f 2,2? Is it because the placement of the two characters afterwards isn't optimal for Bryan or something? Because the damage is higher, or atleast I think it is.

B3 is pretty consistent for me if i forward dash and use forward sway 2,2. I know it's not the wall carry combo ender, but it does more damage and i typically already make it to the wall by the end of my combo, so after forward sway 2,1 they just hit the wall instantly then slide down.

I never use the SSR method. Regarding what you call the alternative method i don't think it works because of holding the snake dash longer alone. The way i do it is: 1- After the Snake Eyes animation, dash in (and dash in deep). 2 - Delay the B+3 a bit. The trick is to pickup up Kazuya (in this example) with Bryans heel, not the tip of the boot. This makes the opponent float less away. This with holding a tiny bit longer the snake dash lets you connect qcf2,1. Its a timming that takes a bit to get used to, but after that is really consistent. Never had trouble doing it this way. But maybe thats just a quirk of mine. I still do agree that the "by the book way" ("correct") of doing it is to SRR tho.
