Great list, enjoyed this vid thanks, you could do another 10 easily I think. One issue is that a lot of great Amiga games received inferior console ports about 2 years later. Anyway A good start for your next vid pls , Apidya (arguable best shooter on the system too), Shadow Of The Beast 3, Walker, Scorched Tanks (yes better than worms), Lionhart, Agony. Cheers.

I still like Bobs bad day on the Amiga (bonus section of sonic expanded). I'd personally have gone with MR Nuts which was planned for other systems but never released. Yes I know there's Mr Nuts on Megadrive and Snes but they are very different games I believe Mr Nuts on the Amiga is Mr Nuts 2 kind of.. My memory is fuzzy but I thought some of those came out on ST or PC... Probably my memory. :) Great video. :)

Fired up WINUAE on my retro PC I keep just to play emulators on. Played Wings, did around 80 sorties before I realized I had been playing for about 5 hours lolz its just that addictive. Only thing I dislike about it is the limited rank (Lt Con.) and the 5 medals you can get but none the less an awesome game. Another great vid OSG keep em coming please

Off topic, but I am desperately searching for a game I loved playing on the Amiga. I believe it was based off some obscure comic book. It was a platformer where you had to transport through different tubes and hold in the direction you wanted to go at certain intersections. The aim was to find a kid hidden somewhere and when you did he was sleeping. I remember the title being something like Milomilo or Miodemio. I cannot for the life of me find this game again. It was a small game because I remember finishing it over and over.

I love them both mate ive got my A500 and my STE1040 side by side on my desk...they like the perfect couple ...fought alot in the erly days but in time they learnt to love each over and live together in total harmony lol

Concerning Roadkill , I noticed you was playing the dodgy version that has no sound properly in-game, like a wind noise , are you using whdload AGA version? try using the CD32 version of the whdload game as that seems to work correctly, engine noises and rocking music when u get a kill streak :) Seems the guys cannot replicate the issue with the sound and are having problems trying to fix it, but the CD32 whdload version should work ok.

Great video. Lionheart was mind blowing for me back in the day. I actually completed it. I was going to nominate Hired Guns. I loved this game so much and its graphic style was one of the best. But it was also out on P. C, so not an exclusive!

One thing I kind of enjoy about Amiga games is when you don't have ingame tunes you can play your own tunes in place coming from the console side and coming late to the Amiga party I appreciate the option

yeah the amiga could churn out some great sound effects...the game is ok...its one of the best exclusives but not one of the best games on the system.... top 4 games on this list are awesome

Maybe "Wings" is good but I don't get it... All others almost fit my own list :) I can only remember "Quasar wars" (it was an exclusive, right?) that had an awesome feel of freedome for that time. Was "Damage (the sadistic butchering of humanity)" an exclusive? It is pretty addictive and I've liked that you can use some really crazy power-ups there :)) Also the enemies are pretty realistic. I'm not a fan of blood and gore but this game just did stuck in my memory. I wish that Rockstar would made a GTA with a side view (maybe two modes - top and side).

deluxe galaga was also out on the pc under the name warblade by victor mugdail.... and it was way way better ... I still play it regular trying to beat my hiscore of over 16m... 22hrs solid none stop :D

Great vid, and some excellent choices. Mine would include a lot of Public Domain games... So my choices would be: 1_Alien Breed 3D 2 The Killing Grounds 2_Deluxe Galaga 3_Super Obliteration (1993)(D. Papworth) 4_Xtreme Racing 5_Deluxe Pacman 6_Bounce (1995)(Wyatt, Ben) 7_Jouster v3.0 (1995)(Pawprint Software) 8_Alien Fish Finger 9_ Don't know the title for this one, but it was a tiny tetris game, only using hexagon shapes. I believe I got it off an assassins disk (not sure though!) 10_F/A18 Interceptor

Uridium is one of my fav C64 shmups and when I heard Braybrook was doing a sequel on the Amiga I was excited, game was ok, just thought the levels were too cluttered, meh. Deluxe Galalga! top game and free! Check out his take on Pacman, any DG fans if yer not aware deffo check out WarBlade on the PC. Edgar's remake of Deluxe Galaga. Sadly, Edgar passed away a few yrs back, he was halfway coding WB II, great coder RIP. Wings for the top spot and rightly so! feckin loved that game, the top narrative just kept you playing till the end, awesome. Check out Wings - Remastered on PC, coded by the original team at Cinemaware, it's a excellent modern version, highly recommended for fans. Great vid that m8, nice one :)

If memory serves me right i bought the Amiga A500 for.......( are you ready for this ) £390:00 but that was NOT the end i also had to get the memory upgrade just to play the BEST EVER game ...Dungeon Master....Spent hours and hours playing that game , I was really crap at it but that never stopped me loving every moment..You often say this game and that game was a bit hard!! Welcome to the 8 / 16 bit era.....

Banshee was beautiful but its wasn't the best shmup. The best was Battle Squadron. Ruff n Tumble was amazing but it had one tiny problem that made it look like it wasn't an Amiga game and that was the scroll. The scroll was a bit terrible. Other than that, it was fantastic, one of the best games for the Amiga.

Zero Espada there’s some good emulators now yer. Of course at the time when Amiga was in its pinnacle, the games were superior than the PC’s of the time. late 80’s and early 90s, pre 3D gfx card acceleration became the norm on PC’s of course.
