Pac Mania is not "slow". The early levels start off slow but later level are very fast.

Not my list really, I remember I've played only "Apidya", but here's a little fun fact about "Blood Money"'s producer: in 1993 DMA Design released my beloved "Hired Guns" (awesome music BTW) and some years later they've became "Rockstar Games" and developed "Grand Theft Auto".

There is an obscure game called Mediator. I used to play it lots but couldn't get past level 2. I only discovered recently that when it was sold, it had a game-breaking bug which was fixed on later releases. It's crazy that games could be sold broken in the old days and there was no comeback. Oh well :)

Dolphin blue is good a example of what i consider pinnacle 2D non pixel art graphics. And anything beyond this, going toward more photo realistic grahpics and the charm quickly begins to drop off. So many remakes and remasters lean too heavily into utilizing 100% of the hardware for the art style but thats doesn't necessarily give the most appealing results. Doing so for the amount of content and performance of a game, YES! Art style/visuals, no.

I never like Banshee, no music, color too much dark, No animated tiles, No one parallax. It was only Amiga 1200 so they can do much better I think.

I thought that Ikari Warriors and Spyhunter translated really well to C64 from the arcade. I blew £16 in 1982 on Spyhunter at a campsite. Loved it.

Could you do a video on Commodore 64 games where the sequel game was not as good as the original? I was a huge fan of Star Rank Boxing but did not enjoy Star Rank Boxing 2. I'm sure there are other titles out there like that.

I remember playing Project X, Silkworm and Uridium 2 on my A500. I think Silkworm was my favourite. Now magically, through the power of the internet and emulation, I can try the others on this list. Banshee and Battle Squadron look good.

I have to disagree with one thing. I know some people who enjoy punishment. I've known a lot over the years. I very much doubt they would willingly spend their time playing these. "You have to play these games" isn't a punishment they would enjoy

Quartet actually had two options for arcade operators - the full-fat four-player cabinet and a board conversion for already-standing two-player cabinets. So the SMS version converts the two-player version.

I haven't had many soccer games, but i just love Microprose Soccer! Commodore/International Soccer and Five-A-Side were fun, too. And Street Sports Soccer was ok (Their basketball game was one of my most played games). Super Soccer seems to be almost in slow motion, same with Match Day II (How can that game be THAT high on the list??). The ball in Street Cred Football is HUGE, bigger than the player's heads...Same in 4 Soccer Simulators, Gazza II, Italy 1990 and Microprose Soccer. Also in Fantastic Soccer, ADIDAS Championship Football, England Championship Special, Manchester United TOCG, Liverpool TCG and Kick off the ball is too big. European Football Champ has a slight bloom over it and is pretty choppy. Peter Shilton's Handball Maradonna also has that bloom. In Fighting Soccer everything except the ball is totally washed out. Why?? And it's even choppier than EFC. Roy of the Rovers has no goals?? World Cup Soccer: Italia 90 is also choppy. I play 3D Soccer's graphics were a BAD idea. Graeme Souness International Soccer is slightly choppy. If the ball/player proportions are a little bit off, that's not bad for the playability. Washed out colours could be a problem for playability. A rather slow game pace doesn't have to be bad. Many/Most players don't have faces, but that's mainly because of the resolution (and perspective). Some games have the ball physics completely wrong, the surface played on must be pretty sticky... All these games with choppy graphics: Is it really the games or some emulator or recording problems? So choppyness, too slow pace, bad physics and bloomy graphics ruin the games. Bad sfx and music aren't that important: just mute the sound. Playability is of course the most important thing, but that can't be judged just by watching a video. I think i have to catch up on a good amount of Fußballspiele!
