​@@MrHoll87 Even if you dont achieve high relationship score with Tifa in the OG(which will trigger the famous Under the Highwind scene), in his lifestream scene, it is shown that everything Cloud did, he did it for Tifa. You can try to find a video and rewatch and ponder. And in Advent Children he did settled down with Tifa and adopted Denzel, but I guess it is not quite like the marriage we understand, they just....live together, these are two very traumatized person leaning on each other for support. But he was having problem getting over his guilt for Aerith, that is why you see their relationship is a bit strained there. Though I agree, Aerith was out on the attack for Cloud, if she didn't die, the romance could turn out very differently.

Clerith fan would never understand that it’s always been Tifa and Cloud! The OG in the end explains Cloud’s true feelings for Tifa. He wanted to be SOLDIER for Tifa and copied Zack’s impression to look tough in hoping Tifa would noticed but end up attracting Aerith because he reminds her of Zack. I believe after Rebirth, we will see Tifa help Cloud get better and realize this whole time he was doing the best he can to have her.

After Rebirth all but the most stubborn of die hards admits Cloud and Tifa are THE FF7 couple. Their relationship is given so much attention in the game, especially when compared to the tiny trail of breadcrumbs in the OG at this point in the story. Everyone, from Sephiroth to the rest of the party, see it and comment on it. Sephiroth is almost completely focused on Tifa and doing anything he can to drive her and Cloud apart to the extent of eventually trying to kill her directly himself. Other characters are openly rooting for them to kiss and openly teasing Cloud about Tifa. Yuffie even says to Aerith that Cloud would be fine if Tifa would just crack the whip a little. The other characters definitely know what's up. Aerith herself seems to be openly rooting for them too. Her first interaction with Cloud is to berate him for not treating Tifa better. That's all without even mentioning the kiss that can happen with Tifa and only Tifa. Also, as the video says, Zack and Aerith are just much better anyway. Love the OG shoutout to Locke and Celes.

Whatever helps you sleep at night. Sephiroth is targeting Tifa because she’s the one that helps Cloud fix his mind, which is something he doesn’t want, as he wants to keep him under his control. It’s got nothing to do with romance. He could kill her if he wants, he’s shown to be capable of killing people if he chooses, but he just wants to mess with Cloud. What other characters? The only one I’ve seen is Yuffie, so unless you provide proof of anyone else, I’m calling bs. Also when does Yuffie talk about Tifa and whips? No she doesn’t, she talks to Cloud about not taking Tifa’s friendship for granted, as she’d of done anything to have a friend when growing up. Once again nothing to do with romance. The very next interaction is Aerith clinging to Cloud and telling everyone, including Tifa, that they were on a date. Context is lost on all the Cloti’s, as they see only what they want to. Considering what CA talk about, and the stage they are at in their relationship, a kiss would of been awkward and out of place. Even the kiss with Tifa was awkward and out of place, as the real Cloud would never of acted so confident and brazen by holding his hand out, then pulling her in to kiss her. He acted completely like Zack in that moment, which is even more awkward. Also the kiss is not only optional, it’s not canon either as the Ultimania confirms. So as far as the canon story is concerned, it never happened. And? It’s one channel among many, just because this one prefers CT over CA doesn’t mean everyone else agrees. I’ve seen many channels, vids, rankings etc that have CA higher than CT or even those without CT at all. Enjoy your ship, but both get plenty of moments and so on, and neither one is gonna get confirmed canon, which was the same for the OG.

I don't need the kiss to make my point, the kiss is just the delicious cherry on top. The Yuffie line is in ch 13 after the group is split up and she's with Aerith and Red. The other characters interested in and/or commenting on their relationship would be Barret, Aerith herself, and then Cait Sith, who is right there with Yuffie chanting "kiss kiss". Right in Aerith's face too. Do you think they would do that if they believed there was anything real with Cloud and Aerith? Of course not, unless you think they're just assholes who don't give a shit about Aerith's feelings. Honestly for the rest, I could explain how storytelling and foreshadowing and buildup work, and how all this added Cloud and Tifa content is going to pay off in part 3, but I don't feel the need to anymore. The writers have chosen to focus on and expand only one of the relationships, even adding an entire chapter that isn't in the OG to focus on them. A large majority get it, and I'm just not worried about the few who don't anymore.

Cait Sith isn’t saying “kiss” that’s just Yuffie. He’s only there listening, he’s not trying to initiate anything. Also they are behind a door, they can’t see anything, Yuffie is just being a teenager saying what she does because of how emotional the conversation got. She’d of done the same if it was Aerith in the room instead talking about something of equal nature. None of the group know what Cloud feels, or if he’s interested in anyone, even Tifa doesn’t know which is why she thinks she’s getting ahead of herself again on the Gondola. When does Barret or Aerith ship CT? Only thing I’ve seen is his Saucer date, and he doesn’t mention anyone in particular, and just tells Cloud to confess any feelings for someone if he has them, before it’s too late. If anything his dialogue lines up with Aerith. Don’t recall Aerith saying anything in their favor either. If she did, she wouldn’t be doing and saying all she does in the two games, especially Rebirth. So provide proof of anyone besides Yuffie shipping CT? I see, totally blind and forgetting not only all the new CA stuff that wasn’t in the OG, but also how much focus and so on that relationship was also given. Anything you could say for CT and their attention and expansion, I can say for CA.

All I see is Cloti’s complaining and getting triggered that Clerith exists. Aerith has already moved on from Zack, and that’s why she calls Cloud her koibito in the canon “OTWTAS” novel. Cloud and Tifa are the most boring ship in the series. Most of the scenes are optional, and there’s a triangle unlike every other FF game. They don’t do or say anything romantic after the game, aren’t in a relationship, sleep in different rooms and beds, spend most of CoT and ACC at odds of apart, and are still addressed as friends in Dirge 3yrs after the game. If this is what you Cloti’s all look forward to, then that’s just sad.

In the end, Aerith expressed she didn't know how she liked Cloud and Cloud simply didn't know how to respond to that confession, but it is clear that they both appreciated each other very much

Also, even the 5 year old girl is smart enough to see that Aerith has feelings for Cloud. Zerith was taken behind the barn and shot. Even Zack accepted this. The fact that your fandom is STILL twisting and contorting and misrepresenting what actually happened in the game. Is just beyond disrespectful to the writers and devs. Your fandom has serious issues.

The thing i love the most about the "Squall x Rinoa" relationship, is that Rinoa is the Daughter of Laguna`s first Love (Julia Heartilly), which he had to leave behind in Galbadia, due to him being a Soldier and his last Mission going wrong, which brought him to Raine. Squall is living the love his Father couldnt have.

There are 3 moments that just hit me everytime. Coupled with the music for each = tears everytime. FF9 Zidane and Garnet - Final Scene where he reveals he's still alive during the play and she runs through the crowd which closes the game in a happily ever. FF8 - Final Scene seeing Laguna standing over Raine's grave, replaying the memory of him proposing to her. Their story was hinted but perfect. He was an idiot, and she was stubborn but both caring and had more chemistry than any couple in entire franchise. FF10 - Final Scene - Damn. This one kills me. Tidus's goodbye scene.... Yuna tries to hold Tidus back as he slowly disappears, but just falls straight through him. He holds her, for a final time while The road to Zanarkand by the legend Nobuo Uematsu playing in the background... CINEMA

I can bull*hit on the noctis x lunafraya romance. Their was never anything there. They may have been engaged but it was a publicity wedding set up by their enemies. Also they only met for like a week when they were toddlers and then for 5 minutes before Luna’s death. They were literally the ff version of the internet girlfriend excuse.

I cant believe the way you described Zidane and Garnet compared to everyone else lmao the romance and character building that took place within FF9 was second to none. Zidane began as a creepy ladies man joker who Garnet had zero interest in and by the end of the story he was the person she loved, trusted and respected more than anyone else in the world - we the viewer got to watch this gradually build and unfold and it was one of the main themes of the game. I cant believe you compared it to bloody Noctis and Lunafreya yet made out that an optional kiss in a game centered around a LOVE TRIANGLE was more romantic 😭😭😭 watch mojo is so unserious
